If you have ever been to Chincoteague Island, you already know what an incredibly special place it is. Those who visit our island fall madly in love with our little slice of heaven, and return year after year. Imagine finding a Vacation Home worthy of such a Vacation Experience......

To the Lighthouse is just that kind of home, and has had some fabulous updates. This gorgeous 3 Bedroom/3 Full Bath Home on Eastside Road directly faces Assateague Channel and our beloved Assateague Lighthouse. While separated by a small road, this home is Waterfront and has its own Private Dock for launching your kayaks, taking in sunsets, or simply exploring. The Views from inside and outside Epiphany are no less than soul-soothing.

As you enter this charming home, you will love the cozy Kitchen that will please the Chef in the family. The Well-stocked Kitchen had Brand New Countertops, Appliances, and more, plus all you need to prepare fabulous family meals, or quick breakfasts before hitting the Beach. And there are so many places to enjoy that fresh Chincoteague Seafood! Dine in the huge Dining Room just off the Kitchen, in the tranquil Screened Porch, or on the side Deck taking in those Lighthouse Views! Don't feel like cooking on vacation? No problem! Enjoy dinner out at one of many fine dining establishments within a 5 minute ride of To the Lighthouse.  I know you're already craving those Famous Chincoteague Oysters!

As you enter through this lovely home to the Living Area, you will be captivated by the Views staring back at you from the enormous Bay Windows that line the front of house. The large Living Area is so comfortably furnished with room for everyone to relax. Enjoy the cool Central AC, Free WiFi, and Satellite TV after a sun-sational day at our beautiful Beach. With gleaming Hardwood Floors, Beachy Blues, and Wicker Accents, this is a fabulous room to spend time in - and you will never be without a water view! Along the front of the home, just off the Living Area, French Doors will lead you to a stunning Sunroom with walls of windows and a light Pine Ceiling. Ahhh, the serenity you will find here. Just imagine sipping your morning coffee while the Herons and Egrets fish for their morning meal! Also on the first floor is a Bedroom with a Twin that leads to the Screened Porch.

Follow the very cool Spiral Staircase upstairs to find two more Bedrooms and TWO more Full Bathrooms! The spacious Master Bedroom has a magical feel to it with a King bed, and also has those Marsh Views that will make your jaw drop. With a large closet and Lighthouse View Sitting Area, Mom and Dad will most certainly be able to relax and rejuvenate here. Just down the hall, you will find two Full Bathrooms! Full Bath 2 has gorgeous Tropical Blue Walls and bright white accents for a crisp, fresh look, and a Tub/Shower Combo. Just across from it is Full Bath 3, also with a Tub/Shower Combo and Sunny Yellow Walls. There will be no waiting in line to grab a shower at To the Lighthouse! Finally, Bedroom 3 has a comfy Queen bed and Twin bed. There is also access to the Deck off the back of the house and a staircase leading to the lush backyard.

There is so much to explore at To the Lighthouse - from chasing Lightning Bugs and frogs in the tropical feeling backyard, to the critter hunting they will do at low tide off of your own Private Dock! The biggest concern with this fabulous home is that you may never want to leave!

Peaceful neighborhood and nice view
The house was very good for our family. Private space as needed. We used all 3 bedrooms bathrooms. I sat out on the dock in the evenings and enjoyed the view. Hosts were very prompt to reply and kept in touch

Love the view
Enjoyed our stay over the long weekend. Had a great time reading and looking at the lighthouse. I was glad I only had a small suitcase, not sure how I would have managed the spiral staircase with anything larger. The temp between the main floor and the upstairs was significantly different and need to turn the temp way down at night to make sleeping upstairs comfortable. Overall enjoy the house.

Super get-away
This was a multi-generational vacation with guests ranging from a year to 70. The property was exactly as described. Clean and convenient. The communication from the owner/manager was very good with prompt replies to questions. We'd definitely stay their again.

Great, but pack accordingly
Beautiful property with a gorgeous view. The biggest drawback is the spiral staircase, which taxed one person's knees, and made taking luggage upstairs a challenge. We barely got the large suitcase up at all! The teenager in our group found the small bedroom/screened porch to be magical.

Wonderful place on Chincoteague
We were two families, and it was an incredible week over the 4th of July. Every time you walk into the living room there is a sense of calm looking out to the lighthouse. Great back area, and outdoor shower. We would happily return.

House with a view.
Awesome view! Included a small dock across street. Kitchen and appliances adequate with quartz countertop. Parking tight. Mattresses really hard. Did supply linens and towels though. Upstairs access tricky with spiral stairs. Window blinds could use some updating. Great dining space (for game night, too). Large living area. Friendly people. Chincoteague seems like a nice safe place for families. Overall nice stay. Thanks!

Pretty Chincoteague
Very cute house with sufficient bathrooms and space for a family group. Great view out front to the dock and marsh, although fishing and kayaking not really possible since channels aren’t open there. Free fishing downtown and at nearby memorial park so not a biggie. We could see the lighthouse with naked eye and ponies with binoculars across the way. Bikeable to the Asseteague Island preserve and downtown. Kayaking very nearby- lots of fun things to do. Two very minor beefs-AC great downstairs but not as good upstairs and -for an early departure time (10AM) it seems a bit much to have to have dishes washed, dried and put away. It made the morning tight for us.

Spring Break
We stayed at this beautiful little home during spring break. The view was stunning! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It is located right on the water and we could see the ponies on Assateague shores. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. We walked or biked everywhere we needed to go. I highly recommend this stay!

Lovely home with lighthouse view
We loved it! Immediately upon walking through the house, one sees the most stupendous view of the lighthouse! This was the " million-dollar view" ! The decor was bright and colorful, the rooms were lovely and the dining room accommodated our whole party. We sat outside on the small deck most mornings to have our pre-breakfast coffee!, which we so enjoyed! We used the back screened-in porch several times when the cooler evening breezes were able to cool it off. Great location, accessible to town and activities on the island, yet private and serene. We were well-pleased!!

2023 Family Vacay
The property was way smaller than pictures show. I would say 4 adults max and you could get 3 smaller kids ok. We had 7 adults and it was tight. The mattresses on both big beds were horrid. Went to management but they could not help. The winding stairs inside to the second floor are VERY narrow .. so you might have to use the back stairs which enter into one of the bedrooms. Another sleeping area which I think they are saying is a double, but I don’t think so, is a super small area that you have to go thru to get to the screened porch. So it’s a cute little place but not for more than 4 adults and not until those mattresses get changed out.. we woke up often trying to get comfortable and got up sore and hurting, not the ideal way to spend your vacation.

Amazing Home and Location
Epiphany was the best rental home I've stayed in. Ever. View - The view from the front window was awe inspiring. Even better than the pictures conveyed. As the light changed throughout the day, so did the view. From the golden light at sunrise to the lighthouse and stars at night, it was amazing. So relaxing to sit and watch the water, swaying vegetation, wildlife, and lighthouse. Location - The island is only 7 miles long. The house is centrally located. We rode bikes to each end of the island and over the bridge to Assateague to see the ponies. It was easy to store our bikes in the back screened in porch. Layout and Decor - Enter through the side door into the perfectly updated and functional kitchen. There's a full bath off the kitchen and a small washer dryer unit. The main floor is set up with rooms flowing into each other. A great layout for togetherness with separation. Starting at the front is a closed in porch with large windows to capture the view. There are two small and comfortable couches, good lighting for evening, and boxes of toys for the kids to play in the hidey-hole corners of the room. Through the double glass doors is the main living room. Comfortable leather couch, side chair and stools. You could easily sit 12 people in the combined rooms and be very comfortable. There's a large coffee table for coffee, snacks, puzzles, cards, books, or just putting up your feet. Next is the dining room. Huge table that works well in the space with a combination of benches and chairs. Next is a bedroom. Small but so charming with a double daybed and TV. Last is the screened in porch. Full of seating with perfect function and comfort. To get upstairs, there are two options. A small but sturdy circular staircase. Not ideal for large or immobile people, but we did just fine. There's also an outdoor staircase that we used to bring in the suitcases. There's a large master bedroom. Comfortable mattress and perfectly decorated. The side chair is great for reading or writing your next novel. Then there are TWO full baths. Not new, but spotless with plenty of hot water. Finally, there's a back bedroom with a full and twin bed. Great for the kids and grandkids. It felt like staying at the home of an interior decorator friend. Cleanliness - Off the charts amazing. I'm picky on cleanliness. Everything was spotless. I wish the cleaners lived near me. I'd love to have them clean my house. It was perfect. No dust, no smells, just clean.

Shortened but lovely stay
We found the house, its location, and amenities just dandy for celebrating a birthday! Just wish it would not have been impacted by Nor’easter Ian…ah well. Unfortunate to have lost rental time and cost due to having to leave early to avoid potential causeway closure. Challenging time of year to predict.

Perfect Spot
This seaside cottage is the best escape to the island! The views from the living room and mater bedroom were exceptional across the marsh toward the lighthouse. Sitting on the sofa reading a book, looking out at that view was the best part of the vacation. Cozy, comfy, and relaxing! Two full bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a fully stocked kitchen. Close to all amenities. Great communication from the management company! Will not disappoint.

Had everything we needed - even a mixer so I could make my daughter a birthday cake! Lovely view over the marsh, close bike ride to the beach and lots of space to hang out inside. I misread the listing and thought there were three bedrooms upstairs (there are 3 beds not bedrooms) — putting it in the review in case others are sloppy readers like me. :)

Beautifully decorated house with gorgeous view!
We had a great time in this house. The layout, furniture and kitchen were all top notch. We even had a little 3 kid guitar concert using the square tools. We had plenty of seats for game nights too. We had rented 3 houses for our families and this house was the gathering place. The garage was full of beach things which was great. We kayaked, rented bikes to tour the Nature trail, did the water park and of course got ice cream at the Creamery. We loved Chincoteague.
