The property itself was stunning- the cabin was spacious and had all the supplies you need from kitchen stuff, to extra blankets and pillows, to board games, to a cabinet full of contact information. "La Caseta is one of the best places I have ever been at. I love almost everything about it. The only thing I don't like is the location of the television. I Wish it is upstairs instead of downstairs. Everything else is fantastic!!! Highly recommend!!!"

"Beautiful house which was secluded in the woods, very clean, cozy and spacious and great location for access to elk mountain, only downfall was the driveway was covered with ice and snow so we weren’t able to make it up with our vehicle, had to park in the street and carry everything in, the owner did warn us about this, a 4WD vehicle wouldn’t make it up due to the steepness and icy conditions, this was an inconvenience but still had a great time!"

"My husband and I spent the weekend at the Elwood Escape for our wedding anniversary. We really enjoyed the set up of the home and we spent a lot of time in the back yard by the fire pit. We took advantage of the hikes and were able to bring our small dog with us. We also loved that one of the restaurants/bar was across the street from the home and were able to walk to the location. Over all we enjoyed this nice quiet escape from the city."
