The Studio Nest was comfortable, well equipped and clean, but there needs to be a lot more attention paid to maintenance to justify the price. During our visit:
- The fridge was making a terrible rattling noise (kept us awake the first night) and was not cold at all. We investigated and found that the freezer was iced up to the point where the fan wasn't working and the vent into the fridge was blocked. We defrosted it and got it working properly.
- The sliding door to the bathroom does not fully close, which means it lacks privacy.
- The shower leaked on the floor and oscillated between hot and cold.
All small issues, but combined are frustrating. When you are paying over $200 a night you don't expect to be spending your time defrosting freezers and mopping up floors.
