Hotel close to interstate and restaurants
Hotel room was clean and tidy. Better than some other hotels I’ve stayed at for comparable price. Staff cleaned room and replaced towels daily. Good hot shower. Stayed 5 nights. Was disappointed to hear they are tearing hotel down to build truck stop.
Awesome place to stay, loved having a bar and restaurant right there in the hotel, excellent food, gal checking us in was very friendly and helpful, sad to hear it was closing down.
The hotel told us we had to leave they were shutting down the motel. We still had two more nights reserved with out any notice they said we had to be out by 10 am the next morning. We had to scramble to find another motel before morning. They also wouldn't credit my credit card for the two nights that we didn't stay there. They said I booked through hotels.com and I would have to contact them. So I did and they tried to contact motel but front desk would not answer. So I guess I will have problems to try and get my two nights money that I paid.
When we entered our room it had not been cleaned Bed unmade towels on the floor wastebaskets over flowing. The front desk lady was very nice and gave us a different room. It had cobwebs, needed painted, bathroom dirty. Stayed next door at Comfort Inn and Suites on our next visit. It was well worth the extra money. Only good thing about DaysInn was the front desk lady.
Hall way in need of vacuuming. No elevator .We entered our room to find the smoke detector beeping. I contacted the front desk and said that they would be up . 30 minutes later the power went off for about 45 minutes, so did their phone service and the smoke detector continue to beep. When I went to the front desk they told me to disconnect the wires to the smoke detector. Before we retire to bed a lady using her key card dinner at our room . I followed her to the front desk and apparently they did not check us in properly and assigned her to our room . Upon returning back to my room my key card no longer worked on my door and I had to retreat back to the front desk yet again for a new key card . 6:00 am The smoke detector that I disconnected started beeping again .

Room was ok
Basic room decent price not many choices in this area
We arrived late and left early. For a very quick stay, just sleeping, the hotel was okay. The staff was not very friendly. The lobby of the hotel seemed nice. Our room was dingy, and the sheets didn't feel very clean. We ended up sleeping on the blanket and using blankets we brought to cover up with. The bathroom only had shampoo, no conditioner, and the shower wasn't very clean. I wouldn't not stay here for more than the few hours we did. I feel it was over priced for the quality.
I could believe the terrible attitudes we got from the staff. Started right off at check in and we thought we would go have a night cap at the bar in the hotel and same thing there. We left and went to Applebees next door. Pretty sad experience with service but the room was nice for the price. Room key didn't work every time and from the staff sounds like a common problem there.

Ok for one night
Only stayed one night because I was passing through for work. Didn't care for the fact that my room opened to the hallway AND the outdoors.
Every time the person in the room next to me turned on the water, I could hear it in my room. It sounded like they were in my bathroom. So I woke every time they turned on the water because it was very loud.
The sheets had a couple of hairs on them and their was hair in the shower. Dust on the ceiling, cobwebs in the corners. Could have been cleaner in the details.
The channel list needs to be updated as well.
The weirdest last of the whole experience was in the morning I was loading my car and ticked the the second floor rooms also opened to a balcony that had NO railing or anything. It was just open space, so I hope the rooms truly didn't open but it was crazy looking.
Overall it was fine for one night but don't plan on getting a good night's sleep.
