Idyllic stone cottage with slate floors under a giant fig tree, 200 metre stroll to the picturesque town of Childers. Plenty of pubs and coffee shops and an IGA supermarket for all your requirements. Situated right on the Bruce Highway at 36a it’s impossible to get lost! Fully fenced to keep your pets safe. Open plan (there are no bedroom walls!) with air conditioning and an electric fireplace. Queen bed downstairs with 4 single beds on the mezzanine level. Cottage is located directly off the highway under a giant fig tree so traffic noise and wildlife are present. Beautiful Cottage!
We arrived late afternoon and were shown around the cottage. Our dogs immediately explored all the wonderful smells in the garden which was fully fenced and safe for them. Everything in the cottage was perfect! The bed was comfortable, lovely hot shower, comfortable lounge and sparkling clean. Our breakfast was fully catered with cereal and bread, milk, yogurt etc. We were very impressed. The owners were available next door if we needed to call on them for anything. Highly recommend.

Very accommodating
Only spent one night as we were passing through Childers. However, we could have easily spent more time there. Great yard for dogs, very secure. We were made to feel very welcome and would not hesitate to stay again.

Lovely little cottage
