"Feels like Im staying at my grandmas that I never knew. Very welcoming, feels like home. My wife cried as we were leaving. Fantastic food/dinner. Would recommend to anyone who wants an at home experience. They speak pretty good english for the area and are some of the most kind people I have met. Its not a 5 star hotel. Its a 5 star home"

"The hotel is lovely and very clean and the staff including Franco who was extremely friendly and accommodating, and Chef Marco whose homemade pastas were so delicious. We had a beautiful terrace which overlooked beautiful scenery. On Sunday morning, we were serenaded with a cacophony of church bells ringing simultaneously. It was simply beautiful. Although my tastes are more modern, for those who appreciate antiques and old world ambiance, Grande Albergo Is perfect. "

Was disappointed that the ristorante was not open for dinner as stated when I looked at this hotel on line, being a senior solo traveller I was not keen on going out at night in the local vicinity. Directions were give for somewhere to eat, but due to rain and as described did not have dinner both...
