"We stayed here for my partners 30th birthday and the entire hotel was incredible. The attention to detail was lovely, the rooms great I had the best 2 nights sleep I’ve had in a very long time, all the staff where so friendly and welcoming it really is a perfect stay. "My husband and I were not so sure we had made a good choice as our cab drove us to this destination and the last 1/2 mile was a dirt road. It’s in a very remote location so we would definitely recommend anyone staying here has a vehicle! The property is expansive with gardens and grapevines. "Truly a beautiful and old world look agriturismo. Felt like we were in an antique villa. Large room and excellent service. The owner is very nice and professional. Breakfast is home made, fresh, abundant and soooo good!!! 5 stars hotel except this little village outside of Bologna is nothing special. But the agriturismo is great and with great ambiance if you want to stay outside Bologna and take field trips from this location. Same hotel in Tuscany would be double the price."

"Excellent quiet location set away from the city with vineyard views. Outstanding restaurant and character bar - wonderful prices after the bigger cities. Hotel and rooms a little quirky in a good way - only downside is lack of air conditioning when 25C (80F) at night. Easy walk or cycle into town. Secure location to leave cars while exploring city. "Wunderschönes Haus und Zimmer, die mit viel Holz selbst gezimmerte Einrichtung ist klasse. Frühstück ok, frische Brötchen und warme Eier wären prima. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es nicht viel zu sehen. Leider sind die Strassen sehr sehr schlecht, so dass man für Ausflüge (Ferrara eigentlich nur knapp 30km weg) mehr Zeit einplanen muss. Fazit: Für einen Zwischenstopp sehr gut. "

Der verschlafene Ort direkt am Po war für uns der ideale Stützpunkt, um u.a. Ferrara, Padova und Bologna kennenzulernen sowie das Podelta zu erkunden. Federico und Silvia waren perfekte Gastgeber.
