Awesome for fishing
"The Otter House is really nice, spacious and comfortable. The view of the river is spectacular. My husband fished from the dock the entire stay and caught LOTS of fish. Used nightcrawlers on the bottom. The yard was really nice for the dog. The restaurant down the street had great food."

Quiet family vacation
"We came to visit family staying in Cheifland. Location was easy to get to in a family neighborhood. House was clean and spacious. Had everything we needed to enjoy relaxing family time. Host was responsive to any questions we had. Definitely would choose this location again if back in the area."

Popular places to visit

Ever seen a buzzard up close? They are the biggest, ugliest birds ever. They were perched all over this walkway as we walked out to look for manatees in the Swanee River. This state park hardly had anyone visiting. It was rustic looking with plenty of parking spaces between campsites. Definitely on our return list. The spring is super cool too. But I'll always remember the buzzards....
