"Checking in went smoothly; however, she showed no enthusiasm for her job or the company. The towels in the room had stains , the breakfast was about an hour late. The price wee paid is higher than I would have expected for what we got."

Awesome for fishing
"The Otter House is really nice, spacious and comfortable. The view of the river is spectacular. My husband fished from the dock the entire stay and caught LOTS of fish. Used nightcrawlers on the bottom. The yard was really nice for the dog. The restaurant down the street had great food."

"The home is very neat and clean. Everything was provided that you would need or want on vacation. The place has a nice comfortable feeling. The host was very pleasant to communicate with. The smart lock system made it very easy access.we will be returning here in the future"

Popular places to visit

Ever seen a buzzard up close? They are the biggest, ugliest birds ever. They were perched all over this walkway as we walked out to look for manatees in the Swanee River. This state park hardly had anyone visiting. It was rustic looking with plenty of parking spaces between campsites. Definitely on our return list. The spring is super cool too. But I'll always remember the buzzards....
