IARA is a lot more than a nice house on a first-class golf course.
The property has just (spring 2024) undergone a complete refurbishment, the result being an extremely stylish and comfortable house for eight people with top-quality fitments and generous spaces. Each bedroom has a roomy bathroom en suite, and the living areas are big, airy, and light. The latter look out over the Mar y Pinos course of the Real Novo Sancti Petri Club, and the views are exceptional: fairways, rough, pines, the lake, and the Atlantic just 1km away. The garden has been landscaped with the aim of minimising water consumption and optimising the views (an infinity pool fuses with the fairway behind, and a sunken chillout area has been positioned to get full sun during the day and the best of the famous Costa de La Luz sunset). It is total peace and quiet, even in high season, and each evening you will be treated to a display of birdlife: egrets, hoopoes, bee-eaters, cranes and storks, sandpipers, depending on the time of year.
The accommodation is on two floors. The ground floor contains the sitting room (opening onto the covered terrace and pool), an open-plan kitchen/dining area that opens onto the outdoor dining area, the main bedroom suite with its own terrace and views, a twin bedroom suite, and a small TV room. An impressive staircase dominates the entrance hall and leads up to the first floor, which is home to the other two bedroom suites and a stunning reading room with pitched roof that stretches across the whole width of the house. Its glass doors open onto the roof terrace and shaded chillout, which has even better views than the one on the ground floor. And this is where you will probably spend most evenings!
