"The bed was extremely comfortable and was the best part of the room. The amenities were nice and the room was as depicted in the photos. The welcome was pleasant but cooled somewhat once they realised we’d booked through Hotels.com. We were told we wouldn’t get breakfast because of it. "Excellent b&b for a short stay. Breakfast was high quality, friendly and helpful owner."

"Great friendly service, good room with a lovely bay window overlooking the sea. Small touches really help, like bottle opener in room etc. Breakfast was hearty and offered smoked mackerel as a choice, as well as the cooked breakfast."

"Had a fantastic night. Lovely little place. Beautiful room. Really nicely decorated, you can tell a lot of effort has gone in to the room and communal areas. Amazing sea view to wake up to. Everything you could need, hairdryer, mini fridge etc. Lots of options to control overnight temperature to our liking. Very very clean. Hosts were friendly and able to advise of good parking nearby. Wasn't noisy, from inside or out. Would definitely recommend. Incredible quality for the price."

"I had a great time. Neil and Jacqueline were friendly. Great location. Walking distance to town, to the beach and to the train station. I had everything I needed in the room. Very clean. "

"Lovely place for our wedding anniversary celebrations. The most welcomed gift of bottle of prosecco and anniversary card from our host's was a very thoughtful touch. Decor throughout was fabulous. Breakfast was gorgeous and plentiful. Comfy bed and wonderful views. Highly recommend and will definitely stay again."

"This is both an amazing location and an amazing hotel. Rob, the host, was a perfect one. He welcomed us, told us god places to eat etc and explained how the car park worked. The room was amazing. "Check-in was simple, despite me arriving about 19.30, keys were sorted quickly and no issues there. However, the only breakfast option was 09.00 which is far too late, I was away before 08.00 both mornings of my stay and so had to arrange breakfast elsewhere."
