Wow.. this place was AMAZING
This looked like a place straight out of a movie.. the host put so much detail into everything. This was unexpectedly the best part of our trip to lookout mountain

Perfect getaway space close to Chattanooga
The owners have put such effort into every detail for such a fun lord of the rings getaway place! Complete with scavenger hunt and optional add-ons. Clean, organized, and convenient to Chattanooga. Great host with easy checkin and checkout. Lovely family getaway for son's birthday.

Fun Adventure
Such a fun place to stay! Everyone in our group was enthralled with the details and accuracy. We are LOTR fans and recognized all the fun items and decorations. We definitely felt like we were staying in Middle Earth. The place was extremely clean and comfortable. Fun ending to graduation weekend.

Perfect Middle Earth Home!
This house was such a treat! There were 3 couples in our party (friends for over 25 years who live in different states and wanted to catch-up). Home was clean, the beds were comfy and the atmosphere was perfect! The host was wonderful, and we would encourage others to come and visit and explore other properties Kristi has in the area!

Fantastic Themed Inn
Anyone who loves Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings will immediately fall in love with this place. The amount of character and detail will amaze you. The host, Kristi, truly has gone above and beyond with ensuring her guests feel as though they were in Middle Earth. The beds were so comfortable and the inn was quiet and relaxing. You can spend an hour doing a scavenger hunt which we all really enjoyed. Next time we visit the area we will definitely be back. We highly recommend!

Cool themed rental
Enjoyed our stay at the Middle Earth home rental. Lots to see and appreciate in the decor. The location was a just a little off the beaten path, which I liked. Overall, I rate it 5/5. I would have liked to see a bit more available in the way of toiletries and kitchen necessities.

The property is enchanting, a modern version of a medieval tavern. 3 bedrooms 2 1/2 bathrooms. Good beds. Common area has several tavern tables. The back porch is nice though the furniture is wrought iron. The kitchen is spacious and stocked with various china sets. Lovely grounds with goats and a shetland pony. Picturesque.

There and Back Again
A great location, the photos don’t do it justice. The decorations are beautiful, perfect for Tolkien nerds. Very cozy, plenty of space, and the fire pit worked well. Not quite as much cooking equipment as I would have hoped but that’s a small issue. Lives up to the magic of Middle Earth and I would happily return.

Interesting middle earth house
Stayed for just a night on the way to another state. Authentic middle earth decor everyone loved it. There’s no Wi-Fi though and no paper towel or extra kitchen towels. That’s the only issues we noticed. Beds were super comfy! We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful and Full of Detail!
This place is wonderful. They clearly put so much love into every detail they put into this place. Each suite has its own theme that feels distinct, and the space is very comfortable. It feels like stepping into a new, fantastic world. I will most likely return with a larger group for a longer stay. There's plenty of room.

Immersive, Magical Experience
This may be our best ever experience on VRBO! Amazing, beautiful reproduction of a "Middle Earth" experience - with not a single detail omitted. The scavenger hunt helped us to become familiar with the cottage. Kristi is a very responsive / proactive host, and was very helpful with directions, etc. Would highly recommend this property for a family - we hope to stay at one of Kristi's other themed cottages.

Unforgettable night
We stayed here on our way to Florida. There was no better way to start off our vacation. We arrived at 10:00 at night and walking in to the lighting was incredible!!! When I woke up, I felt like I was on the set of a Hollywood movie. Even after going to Disneyworld I can truly say that just staying here was a highlight of our trip. The pictures DO NOT do this place justice. It was much cooler then we expected. It was husband approved too.

Awesome Experience
Amazing place , especially if you like the books/ movie from author J.R.R. Tolkien. Lord of Rings/ The Hobbit! You won’t be disappointed! Host Kristi was great to deal with and My daughter loved feeding the pony and goats on the property. Thank you! Kids and husband loved the scavenger hunt! Very nice touch.

Awesome, unique property!
We loved the themed stay and there was more than enough room for the seven of us. It truly is a great experience and unique. If you have a longer stay, bring some dish towels, napkins and such for the kitchen, it didn't feel user friendly. We made due by using hand towels from the bathroom. It is about 20 minutes to Overlook and the town it is in has a lot of history. I would definitely stay here again or any of her other themed properties!

Amazing Stay 🤩 ⚔️
We had the best time in this amazing home! We seriously spent more than an hour exploring all the rooms before we brought our luggage in! We had already booked tickets to visit nearby Ruby Falls and the Tennessee Aquarium the next day, but we really didn't want to leave this magical home! The beds were comfy, the neighborhood was very quiet and safe, there was plenty of hot water for showers, communicating with the owner was great, and the kitchen was well stocked. But the attention to detail in the decorations were what made this stay so amazing. If you like Lord of the Rings or anything medieval just a little, and you are anywhere near the Chattanooga area, book this home!

Incredible Stay
