The space
Relax in this calm and lovingly furnished home. This inviting barn offers cosy accommodation and is set over two floors making it an ideal space for a family looking for a peaceful retreat. The barn is located in the grounds of the owner's house and is in the harbour village of Birdham with plenty of local restaurants and pubs. Chichester is 10 minutes away with its cathedral, shops and cafes, and it is perfectly located for Goodwood, world famous for its motor and horse racing events.
This beautifully decorated oak barn features stylish furnishings and spans over two floors. Enter the property through the wheelchair friendly front door into the open plan kitchen and living room with a beautiful space for dining and relaxing with views out to the private patio. On the ground-floor is also the master bedroom with an ensuite where you can rest comfortably on the high-quality queen-sized bed, complete with hotel-style linen and toiletries. The second bedroom, also on the ground-floor, has two single beds, and a fully accessible bathroom with grab handles. Up the stairs is a second lounge area with beautiful views of the garden. Outside is a private sitting area perfect for enjoying a sun downer with views of the private garden space.
Convenient parking on the premises. You will have exclusive access to the entire barn, with professional management services ensuring cleanliness, fresh linens, and towels between each stay. Remote self-check-in allows for flexible arrival times, and our 24/7 guest support is available to assist you during your visit.
Upon arrival, complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits await you, providing a warm welcome after a long journey. We provide fresh white bedding and towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person) and offer miniature travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Additionally, a kitchen pack is included, featuring essentials such as kitchen roll, Jeyes cloths, sponges, washing up liquid, bin liners, tea towels, washing pods, and dishwasher tablets. Loo rolls are also provided for your convenience. Should you require more supplies, a local convenience shop is just a 5 minute drive away.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire home and the private garden.
There is free parking on the premises just outside the property. There is a local bus service 52/53 on main road every 15 minutes with buses to Chichester. It is advisable to have a car to get around as this is a rural location and there is so much to see and do in the area.

Check in time is after 4pm and check out time is before 10am. Please can we ask that you check out on time to prevent any disruption to the cleaner's schedule.
Please note a fee of £100 for lost keys and £50 for call outs if locked out.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
