We had a bad experience from the start. We arrived at 7pm and our room was dirty. The bed was undone, trash everywhere and the TV was on. They never cleaned the room. They moved us to another room but it was super noisy because it was next to the service elevator. The new room didn’t have enough towels, blankets or pillows. The coffee machine wasn’t working. The ice machine near our floor wasn’t working so we had to go to another floor. The room was nice but not worth the price. You could hear the noise on other rooms. The elevators are a hazard. The door closes seconds after it opens. I saw it crush two people. No real harm but still unacceptable. Parking is expensive ($52/night which is probably typical of the area) and they charge $28 as an urban fee? Urban what? This is definitively not a 4 star hotel. I should have believed similar reviews to mine. Do not recommend. The staff was nice but not worth the price.

Very clean , friendly staff . Conveniently located, within walking distance to the riverwalk, shopping and many dining options. I experienced one issues while staying at the godfrey but after i reported it to management, they made sure i was accommodated and I we definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is in a great area, everything is walk able and convenient. We found the hotel itself though had paper walls. All hours of the night we had guests on our floor slamming their doors and yelling in the halls. You could hear everything including the sounds of the elevator and noises from outside, it just wasn’t peaceful and made sleeping hard. Also our toilet in the room every 20ish mins would run. We actually turned the water to the toilet off at night because it was so loud on top of all the other noise!

Nothing about this stay made me welcomed. The front desk staff is literally the blandest set of people I have seen. They aren’t helpful or welcoming at all. Not once did I see them greet myself or anyone with a smile. They act like you are pulling teeth when you have a question or concern. I stayed at this particular place for 3 night and not once did they do room service. I have stayed in plenty of places before and I have never experienced this. Then, the last day they knock at 8am asking if they could clean the room. Almost like it was done on purpose to say they did offer room service. My room key also stopped working a whole night prior to me leaving as well. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. They have nothing to offer.

The Godfrey hotel was great! I wish I could have checked out the rooftop bar, but had other plans. I didnt have room staff clean the room, as I didn't need it till I left. But, my room staff, gal, asked if I needed anything, and I said water. And five minutes or less, she went downstairs, and brought two bottles to me! That is top notch service. I am sorry, I didn't get her name or see her again to give her a tip. I hope she gets recognized for her fine work. The front desk was also, incredibly helpful with my questions and concerns. Thank you all
