Immaculately clean, quiet studio, housed in a brick coach house off the beaten track in Chicago’s Edgewater/ Andersonville neighborhood. Five minutes from the beach and thirty minutes from downtown Chicago. Walking distance to Loyola and The Chicago Mosaic School. 10 minute drive to Northwestern/ 20 minute train ride to Chicago Cubs.

The Studio have their own furnace and Air-conditioning, nothing shared. Fully equipped kitchen offers a Keurig machine, toaster, microwave, oven, hob, fridge, for independent catering. Beautiful en suite bathroom, LED 4K TV with full cable package and Netflix. High speed WIFI is included (we have a 1 Gigabit connection with Mesh WIFI over the property). Queen bed is exceptionally comfortable and pull out bed available for child or third guest.

Coach house comprises two independent studios so no more than two sets of guests at one time. Cleaning provided by one professional, no crews. All surfaces disinfected with CDC approved products. No contact check in.

Excellent Cozy Studio!
I stayed here while attending a conference at Loyola University. The studio was clean, cozy and very well-equipped! The neighborhood was quiet and close to many restaurants and the El. Great place! Would choose again!

Awesome value. Street parking was relatively easy to find in front, or within a few blocks. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet. The studio apartment was large enough to fit a cot (provided) and two suitcases comfortably. It is a cute vintage studio with an updated bathroom. You can hear the garage door open below, but was during reasonable times when we were already awake. There is an abundance of provisions provided: fresh towels unlimited water, fresh sheets, cots, sleeping bags, extra pillows etc, that were an incredible touch.

My SO and I had a wonderful stay here! The suite was very clean and had everything we could've needed. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The Red Line Train was a 5-7min walk which made our day to day travel super easy! The owner was very kind! We would definitely stay here again!

The perfect home base for a Chicago getaway!
The perfect place for a safe, comfortable, and convenient stay in Chicago. Ideal location. Well equipped with everything you need. Very accommodating and easy to navigate. Kate and her husband are awesome. We had a minor issue with the TV and they were very quick to help and make things right. You will not be disappointed with this gem of a place!

Carriage house with character in fun Chicago neighborhood
Lovely, clean space behind a pretty Victorian house with all the needed amenities. Short walk to the beach and the El train. We are vegetarian and had a delicious meal at Alice’s Kitchen a block away. Hosts were responsive and I would definitely stay again if in Chicago.

Lovely stay and host!
Such a cute property and lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed being close enough to walk to the lake shore/beaches. Driving into downtown took a bit longer with traffic to do some of the “tourist” stuff but there were plenty of great places to eat and shop close in Andersonville, Edgewater, Rogers Park, etc. too. Kate was a great host and made everything easy. Thank you!

Not the smoothest of spring breaks… We found our self in the local hospital with kidney stones, and Cate could not have been more compassionate towards our plate. We really loved out stay at Magnolia Studios. The apartments are very nice and reasonably priced, and the location is very convenient, being so close both to Andersonville and a CTA Red Line station. The host was wonderful and was very helpful despite being in recovery from illness. We were very happy all around.

The Perfect Spot
Quiet, comfortable, clean, and situated on a safe, beautiful street, the studio looks out on a leafy courtyard. Minutes to stores, transportation, and the lake. Kate and Ash left us to do our own thing but were available and friendly when we needed anything. Highly recommended.

The place is like a cottage in the woods, I loved it! I walked to the beach every day, made coffee in the morning, the shower was beautiful and everything was spotless. Kate was so friendly and helpful. I will be back as my son lives nearby and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else!!

This studio is lovely - perfectly situated in one of the best neighborhoods of Chicago and very clean and comfortable. We cooked a whole meal in the kitchen, even! The owner was really responsive to a small issue we had, and communication was easy. We highly recommend this location.

Everything I needed and more
The studio is exactly as pictured, attractively and very thoughtfully designed. It had everything I needed for my stay which is amazing considering its size. I spent most of 2 days inside due to work and pretty terrible weather so got a chance to use everything, all in excellent working order. Great neighborhood, did get a chance to walk. Easy parking. Great studio for the weekend
I had a very enjoyable stay. The location is great and the studio is very well appointed with everything you’d need. Only thing I think needs attention is the amount of shubbery and ability to actually see the property and where you need to go. At night it is very dark and covered in shrubbery that does make it a bit difficult to see the pathway to the back entry.

Nice little studio cottage
Cute place, in a walkable neighborhood with Whole Foods to the North and Walgreens to the South. Access to the studio felt a little like entering the door to Narnia. No cupboard, but a narrow wooden gate. Quick access to public transport (Bryn Mawr/Thor Dale) on the Red Line. Got a pull out bed from the landing for out son. Perfect for our family of 3! The only thing we would like to change for our stay was the weather!
