Family-friendly, stylish Chicago Apartment in Logan Square

Welcome to Hamlin House! The living area has beautifully restored hardwood floors and the bathroom was completely renovated in 2019. The unit sleeps seven if people are willing to share two doubles, one queen, and one twin. We live in the unit below, so we're typically around to answer any questions and help you navigate the area. We want you to feel at home in Logan Square! The unit comes equipped with a full kitchen and enough serveware for entertaining. Perfect for families, friends, short or extended stays.

Our love for travel and vintage furniture and art means there is so much history and character in many of the pieces we've selected to furnish Hamlin House, including a cast-iron lion poster bed we had to put through the front window to get inside the unit). The kitchen comes stocked with a coffee station, olive oil, salt pepper, various spices for cooking, and more. There is Comcast Wifi, Netflix, Disney+, and Amazon Prime TV.

We had an amazing time staying at the VRBO! Perfect size for 3 adults and 2 children. And a lovely table for our Easter meal and to play games with the family. Highly recommend!!

Nice apartment! We have family that live in Logan Square so location was great! Plenty of room to have them over for dinner. Loved the natural light, decor and the plants. Would stay there again 😊

Fun Time and Great food in Logan Square
The place was great for the 4 of us! Very nice and clean. The restaurants near by were incredible too (Pan Artisanal and Caribella were great breakfast/brunch spots close by). Would definitely stay here again. Only slight complaint was that one of the beds was a bit lumpy but it didn’t slow us down. Parking was no issue for us either!

Hosts were super easy to communicate with, very flexible, and the place had plenty of room. It was super clean and easy to access. The only issue was that the coffee maker had a hard time working- not really a problem though! The decor was beautiful and the sunroom got lots of light. Would recommend for anyone coming to Chicago and willing to stay a little outside of downtown.

Fun in Chicago!
Came to celebrate my friend’s 30th. Daniel’s place was splendid! From the decor, beautiful and thriving plants, and the morning light, the vibes were immaculate. The place is in a great location, walkable to Logan Square where there is train access. The place was clean and Daniel was an attentive host with his responsiveness, early check in, coffee bar, and like I said, amazing decor! Thanks Daniel!

Great spot in city
We had a great weekend getaway in this beautiful apartment. Close enough to downtown but a nice quiet neighborhood to retreat to after a day in the city. The apartment itself was very spacious and accommodating for our one-year old. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend

The apartment was exceptional and the neighborhood convenient and felt safe. We anticipated parking to be a issue based upon experiences in other large city street parking situations but it wasn’t. Our host was responsive answered questions and requests in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful place!
Beautiful apartment -- decorated beautifully and amazing greenery throughout! We stayed here with our two kids, 1 and 3 years old, and they provided a high chair and toys for the kids, too! There was even utensils and cups/plates for the kids in the kitchen. Really nice to offer all that for families. All the amenities you'd need and more are included. I'd highly recommend this apartment! Hopefully, we can come back again for another stay in the future.

The perfect stay!
We stayed at this location with a group of 5 girls! We had so much fun. The neighborhood is safe. The house is beautiful & has everything you need. The owners live downstairs and are very friendly and responsive. Parking on the road was not bad at all. Ubering was about 30 min into downtown Chicago but very simple and quick! We would definitely stay again on a return trip!

This property worked perfect for me, my brothers and Dad as we celebrated a milestone birthday for our Dad. Great location and the house worked great for us. The kitchen was very nice and dining area worked wonderfully for meals and card games. We went to two Cubs games while there, ~20 min Uber ride to Wrigley which worked great for us. The owners were very responsive with answers to my questions and easy to work with. Will definitely consider staying here again with my family of 5 when we venture back in for Cubs games.

There are a lot of good hosts on this site--in my opinion, Dan ranks among the best. He was incredibly thoughtful in how the home is set up and incredibly communicative/helpful during the stay. Great set-up for families coming into town. Easy location to get everywhere in the metro area. Well-appointed and decorated. Very clean. I don't live in such a densely populated area, so the street parking was new/something to navigate. And if that's the most challenging thing on a stay, I'll take it 10/10 times.
