This historic coach house from 1884 rests on the most prestigious block in Chicago. Located in the quiet Lincoln Park neighborhood, you'll be a 7-minute walk to the North/Clybourn Red Line Stop where you're only 2 stops away from the Magnificent Mile, 3 stops from Wrigley Field, and 4 stops away from The Loop. One spot in the attached, heated garage is included as well.
THE SPACE
The space is designed by a renowned New York-based interior decorator. New wood trimmed windows, a queen Tuft and Needle mattress, mugs by Jonathan Adler, lamps from Anthropologie, local art, and a Marshall bluetooth speaker are just some of the touches you'll find around this studio space.
GUEST ACCESS
Guests have full access to the garage, coach house, and roof-top deck. The garage is shared with the hosts who live in the main house across the courtyard. The courtyard is not for guest use.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
-We pride ourselves on providing guests premium products, from Starbucks coffee, Jonathan Adler mugs, to Redken shampoo.
-A dehumidifier is included for comfort and convenience, especially in the warm and humid summer months. The dehumidifier has a bin that fills with water which needs to be emptied periodically. It is not required to empty the bin, but the dehumidifier will no longer dehumidify when the bin is full.
-A small-capacity washer and detergent pods are included. For drying, there is a drying rack in the closet (separate from the wooden luggage rack). We ask guests to dry their wet towels, clothes, or anything else on the drying rack and not on the furniture.
LONG-TERM STAYS (stays over one week)
-There are three plants in the unit that are expected to be lightly watered once a week. If guests would rather not take care of the plants, please alert us prior to your stay so that we can remove the plants.
-We offer an optional professional cleaning service during your stay for an additional fee. Please inquire for costs and scheduling.
NEIGHBORHOOD
Lincoln Park is the most walkable neighborhood in Chicago. You're only blocks away from restaurants (including the best in the United States, Alinea), the most renowned theatre in Chicago (Steppenwolf), and a beautiful strip of independent boutique shops on Armitage Ave.
GETTING AROUND
Being a 7-minute walk to the North/Clybourn Red Line Stop and a 10 -minute walk to the Sedgwick Brown Line Stop gets you to nearly everywhere in the city with ease on public transportation. A covered, heated garage spot gives you the option of driving should you so choose.
