Welcome to historic Pullman which was declared a National Monument in 2015. This row house was built in the 1880’s as part of America’s first planned community. The property features an unique facade on the exterior. It has three bedrooms, one full bath and a half bath. The living room, dining room, half bath and large kitchen are all located on the main floor. There is an Amazon echo located in the living room for additional assistance. All bedrooms and full bath are located on the second floor. There is a full basement and garage that is inaccessible to guests. The property has a fireplace along with stainless steel appliances. The master bedroom has a queen bed with one bedroom having a twin bed and the other an office with a futon. There is also a cot for extra guests. The bath has been recently updated. The guest have access to a microwave, coffee pot, blender, iron, blow dryer and other amenities. We have doorbell camera located at the front door for deliveries and added security. The National Monument visitors center is a 5 minute walk from the home. The Cafe is just a short walk as well. The Metra train is a 10 minute walk from the home. The Metra can get you to downtown (Chicago Loop) in 30 minutes. There is a $10 weekend pass per person that covers rides for both Saturday and Sunday. Up to 3 children under the age of 12 can ride for free on weekends with a paying adult. There is also a 15 minute Metra ride to Hyde Park/University of Chicago/Museum of Science & Industry.
