"La Rustica is a large, quaint. comfortable villa, wirh a large fenced garden and an above ground pool ( not heated). It has many large rooms with antique decoration. Very characterfull.Comfortable beds with A/C in bed rooms. Lovely covered outdoor seating area where we spent most of our time. But the highlight was Maurizio!! What a gentleman. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out . "Santa & Giovanni were wonderful! Anything we needed help with they were always available. Even gave us a ride to the train station! Fresh fruit & vegetables were plentiful! The air conditioners worked very well. It was very hot while we were there for 5 1/2 weeks. The pool was very refreshing. They even cooked for us along with their son & daughters help. We would definitely recommend you staying at this lovely home. It was very private, but the town was only 5 minutes away. "

The house name is not a location on a map and if you use an app like Google then you must use the name on the wall outside the property. "A wonderful place for a large family gathering in the hills of Tuscany. The view is stupendous and the setting is green and peaceful. Farmhouse feel and close to nature. So much to do in the area from small local Trattoria to Arezzo, Siena and Florence. The hosts, Giuseppe and Marina are friendly and helpful and even set up a Tuscan cooking evening for us. We had 20 family members from 9 months to 91 and all had a great time. Many happy memories."

"John & Dianne were utterly lovely and made every effort for us. The listing is very clear and if you're looking for peace and quiet in a serene valley, you couldn't do better. The track should be driven with care but after the first time accompanied by John, it's not too bad. I wouldn't bring a car with low clearance though.
