"Nice clean hotel with good sized room. It was great to have a nice pool to cool off in the afternoon after seeing the sites. The room was clean and the hotel offered the choice of not having the cleaning staff in every day. As a single person in the room I did not need the room cleaned every day. ..."

Chiang Mai is a lovely city. It is quiet and ideal for a relaxing trip. In Chiang Mai it's more authentic Thai experience than Bangkok. There are nice coffee shops and little shops around. Modern malls are within few minutes drive.

Chiang Mai is one of my favorite cities in the world. It's walkable, great cafe culture, in the winter the weather is perfect and is big enough to be international and cosmopolitan while still having amazing rural forests minutes away.

My fourteen year old daughter and I stayed three days, but wish we had at least a week. There is so much to inside and outside of the city. If you can it's nice to have a private guide.
