Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

"A nice stay when in the area. The food is good, as are the team. I did hear some locals moaning about both, however that isn't my experience at all. The rooms are good, I had a different room this time and it's probably due for some tlc, however it was serviceable and the bed was comfy etc. The Bowl has a nice feel in a lovely location - it was a stunning evening to sit outside and dine whilst reading a book - with the bell ringing practise starting in the evening. "We stayed at Channings because it was convenient to visit family in Clifton. Rooms were fine for our needs, wifi was good enough for work-related video calls, continental breakfast was good. Staff were helpful. Since the rooms are above a bar, we were not surprised by typical noise from downstairs, and it did not affect our ability to rest and sleep. "

"The Inn dates back to the 1600's, the owner who's been there about 22 years was lovely and his food was delicious. The rooms were clean and tidy although the bathroom was a little jaded but it suited us perfectly and we would go back "

"Nice family pub. It can be a bit noisy during pub open hours but my family were very comfortable and had a great nights sleep. The bar below sells nice selection of beers and the play area kept our daughter busy so we could relax."
