"Nikki & Eddie were the perfect hosts, taking obvious pride in keeping their B&B looking its best. There was even a complimentary upgrade of room when they heard it was the birthday celebration of one of us. Location superb. Off the bustling road but right on the beach. Just right to enjoy the sunrise, sailing boats, crazy early morning swimmers etc. Perfectly cooked breakfasts, delicious coffee. A nice small fridge in the room that was just about enough to take a bottle of sparkly. Friendly...

"Nice, if all you want is a "basic" pub room for the night. There was a good basic pub menu. A respectable sprinkling of locals seem to consider it where they go. Not a lot of "olde worlde charm", but the sheets were clean, the plumbing modern and worked. Good HVAC provision. I'd stay here again. Seemed to be owner/operated- always a plus in my book, and the people we met tried to please."

"We had a warm welcome at Watermead House. Having booked very late, our room was on the top floor. It was extremely comfortable with tea/coffee making facilities, a large screen television and a spacious shower. We found it lovely and quiet. We appreciated the advice on local restaurants which were a short walk away. Breakfast was exceptional, ordered the evening before from a wide selection so no delay and very tasty. "
