Unsafe Property
We arrived in the property and dropped our things and went right out. We returned at around 10pm and discovered a long list of issues. The carpet down into the living room was not fitted so it hung over the top step creating a trip hazard, the smoke detector was in a cupboard with no battery. The extractor fan was held on with blu tac and Sellotape. The hatch in the ceiling of the bathroom was gone leaving a large opening. The bedding for the pull out bed was in the bottom of the wardrobe not made up, the pillows were ripped and the sheet didn't fit the bed. The freezer was full of ice, not been defrosted in a long time, no bulb in the lamp in the bedroom and although it said we could log into our Netflix this did not work. I sent a message to Eastgate Living around mid night saying we were not happy and would be looking for alternative accommodation in the morning, I got no reply so sent another later in the day, although they then sent me a message to explain when I had to check out they did not respond to my messages. I tried to call their office several times and left voice messages. I also sent an email, I did not get one response! If it had not been for my son's graduation I would have gone to their office but just didn't have the time. I have been back for two days and still had no response. I feel this company just don't care and don't want to communicate and own up to the issues. I would stay well clear of this property.
