"The property is very quaint and in the pedestrianised part of the old town, which is lovely and handy for an evening stroll. Our apartment was on the top floor, which was a little bit of a challenge with a baby and pram/luggage (no lift, so beware when booking). The apartment was clean but a bit "unfinished" looking with some raw edges to the kitchenette counters and a very exposed water tank in the bathroom. "Booked for a friend and the stay was unsatisfactory due to lack of service from hotel, for late check-in and also due to poor experience over the theft of a friend's rolex watch at the property, which was denied initially by the hotel, but discovered the 2nd day on reference to Police and request for CCTV footage. Drive-way not suitable for heavy motorbikes and late check-in is a problem with no telephone contact details."

"This was a beautiful place to stay. The area is very picturesque. The host was the friendliest lady you could ask for. We were given a full tour of the accomodation and shown how things worked. The apartment was perfect for us as a family of 4, it jad a very comfortable kingsize bed and 2 single beds, a bathroom, and an area with a table and 4 chairs and a tv. "As soon as the gate was opened we knew we had arrived at a special Chambre d'hote. The property was well maintained, welcoming hosts and very comfortable and ekegant rooms. We had a delightful evening meal with the hosts and another couple. We are on a cycle holiday and were thrilled to have our laundry done for us overnight. In the morning our bikes had even been turned to the direction we were going to travel."

"A lovely newly refurbished house. I loved the premium quality cotton sheets and duvet cover. A super kingsize bed, which was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly squeezed orange juice( rare) bread, mini viennoiserie and home made jams. The hosts were very friendly and spoke English. The village is very peaceful, and the countryside all around is lovely. A great place to stay"

"Le café-bar au RdCh est pratique pour prendre une boisson. Content que la musique (pas forte au demeurant) ait été coupée à minuit et quart pour pouvoir dormir, puisqu'elle était audible depuis la chambre située +/- au-dessus. Salle de bain certes partagée entre les chambres, mais agréable, joliment décorée et bien agencée. Un support de savon/gel-douche serait le bienvenu dans la grande douche à l'italienne."

"One of our best stays ever and the loveliest host. She made us feel at home although we arrived very late. The property has something for everyone and beautiful markets around. We will surely visit again. Stunning home and lovely outdoor pool too."

"Hard to find, but problem with Hotels.com was corrected after we arrived. Also be prepared for no WiFi. Pascal and Marie Rose (or Rose Marie?) were outstanding, greeting us and giving us detailed descriptions of what to see as well as sharing our mutual traveling adventures. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. We were visiting Troyes to connect with old friends and the location was ideal as it was a short walk to the train station and all of the places we wanted to visit in town. While the hotel is fairly basic, the room was large and clean."

"It was a wonderful hotel and the staff was very friendly. We arrived late and no parking was available we had to park in a public lot about 2 blocks away. We had dinner our first night and were disappointed with the limited menu and they seems to be short staff. We think because no place in Chablis is open on Sunday night, everyone in town was eating at the hotel. We didn’t have the breakfast, but it looked fabulous. That said, we did have a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. "

Good for overnight stop

"A premiere classe is cheap and cheerful. The rooms are tiny but if all you want is a cheap bed for the night it is perfect. The staff were helpful and friendly and the room clean. The restaurant d’horlorge serves lovely food but will cost you as much each as the hotel room. "
