Live in a former 19th century windmill, just a few meters from the Wadden Sea on the bay of Mont Saint Michel. The original architecture was preserved when the mill, now a national monument, was renovated. In particular, the imposing fireplace and exposed beams inside create a warm atmosphere.
The living area is on the first floor, a sleeping area on the second floor and an open mezzanine with low ceilings (approx. 1 m), which can also be used as a small reading corner, on the second floor. The mill is located on a 900 square metre nature reserve. Depending on the tide - the sea can recede up to 7 km here - you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea and the majestic Klosterberg or the vast mudflats.
Cherrueix is a small village on the border between Brittany and Normandy, making it an ideal starting point for discovering these two attractive regions.
IMPORTANT: The shower and laundry are located in the annex outside the mill (see photo).
