"There was a lot of remodeling of rooms being done but it was still amazingly quite. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Clean rooms. We arrived early (1:50) and was told if we checked in it would cost us an early check in fee. We could check in at 2:30 without this fee attached to our bill. We decided to sit in the lobby and read until 2:30. Bryon our desk clerk took it upon himself to call the manager and got the okay to check in early without the added fee. Bryon was a very happy, kind, courteous and helpful person. Wish all clerks could have his demeanor. "

"This home was the perfect stay for our family while attending a family wedding in the area. The historical aspects in the home were the extra touch that made the stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend. "

"We visited our college student for the weekend & this was truly a home away from home for all of us. The home was immaculate, in a great location right across the street from the lake, lots of walking trails & playgrounds, and within walking distance to the college. The home is well stocked for several people with plenty of linens, blankets, pillows, towels, dishes, etc. W/D in the home, as well as an incredibly well stocked kitchen! Making home cooked meals has never been easier in a rental- when we didn’t have an item we needed, one was brought to us by the owner within 30 minutes. All the extras were thought of & this made for a seamless stay. We hope to return. Truly a 10/10 rental! Thank you. "

"This house and location was perfect for our girls trip. House was excellent with breathtaking views of the water. We were so close to the water with this house that it was hard to come in at night. Would recommend this host, house, and Storm Lake to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. "
