Stayed here for two days on a business trip. The hotel is well situated and clean. Staff were pleasant.
My detracting points were that the room was small and lacking in natural light - although this is to be expected from a building of that age and architecture, a lack of air conditioning or fans in-situ meant the room was too hot for my liking, but not uncomfortably so, the Tv was a little dated and the Wi-Fi signal in the sub-ground floor was atrocious.
That said, everything was nicely outfitted and very clean.
As such, if you’re here for businesses you’ll probably be fine to use the hotel as a base to sleep, but working from the privacy of your room may be a struggle if you had basic double in a sub-floor as I did. I also wouldn’t want to spend a particularly long time in the room due to its size - but there is plenty of excellent countryside within running / walking distance.
Recommended, but be cautious of which room you choose.
