"Amazingly beautiful hotel and spa! Front desk reception were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selections were anything from cereal, yogurt to freshly made omelettes. Breakfast staff were also very friendly and accommodating. The marble throughout the building was gorgeous and opulent. We did not make use of the spa area at all, but it looked first rate. Our only complaint was the lighting in the bathroom. The magnifying mirror in our room (132) had no light and the room’s lighting not bright enough for my wife to put on makeup. "

"A lovely, cosy Alentejo style cottage situated in a rural area surrounded by vineyards, cork and olive trees. Everything was as described in the listing and the local property manager was lovely and made the check-in and check-out process seamless. A nice welcome basket was awaiting us of local wine, cheese and bread. Sadly, the view of the fields from the back patio was blocked by overgrown vegetation during our stay. The lemon tree was full of fruit and we were encouraged to pick them to make lemonade. (Which we did! ) The people in town were very friendly, as well."
