Wine Down at Chelan sits on a premium corner lot overlooking the vineyard, close to the Olympic-sized pool and large hot tub. The home offers three levels of luxury living, including five bedrooms and 4.5 baths, with the primary suite on the main floor and another on the upper level. Each floor has its thermostat to set comfortable temperatures all day long. With all the charm of a cozy mountain lake cottage, the home offers ample, modern spaces that accommodate large families or couples retreats.

Inside the home, the main floor is open with a large living room, dining room, kitchen, pantry, and powder bath. The kitchen features a collapsible window system that extends the outdoor space to the generous deck space with a window bar. Kick back on the large sectional and enjoy the LG SmartTV, Sonos Beam, and dual-sided fireplace. Thoughtfully designed, Master Bedroom Suite 1 welcomes you with a comfortable king bed, a fan, a work-from-home table, and an ensuite bathroom.

The main floor has French doors that open to entertaining outdoor space and includes a wrap-around covered porch-patio with a dual-sided fireplace, Adirondack chairs, hammock, Sonos Sound System, built-in heaters, window bar, and a Weber 4-burner gas grill. Relax downstairs around the firepit and enjoy a meal outside at the dining table. Between the porch and the patio, there’s outdoor seating for 24 people and a private hot tub that seats 8.

Upstairs, you’ll enjoy a nice loft gathering area with another LG SmartTV and a pit-style lounge sofa. The primary suite two on the upper level has a king bed with an ensuite tiled bathroom with dual vanities. The two bedrooms off the loft area offer beautiful queen beds and dressers.

The lower level offers a private, cozy enclave for the kids. They will love the Xbox Series X & SmartTV in the bunk room. Each of the built-in bunks also has its light and cubbies with outlets for charging devices, and there is a variety of books, games, and puzzles in the bunk room closet.
Wine Down includes gigabit fiber internet and an industrial-grade WIFI network. A 240v EV charger is available in the garage to charge your electric vehicle. PETS are NOT allowed in Wine Down.

Perfect summer getaway!
We came to “Wine Down” with a group of friends and our kids to kick off the summer, and we loved this house! The Lookout resort team were all amazing and any questions or assistance we needed were promptly addressed. The whole community is built for fun and ease of use. The house itself was perfect for our group and in a great location. The kids had a blast riding bikes, going to the pool and beach and playing in the bunk room. Us adults loved the spacious deck area where we enjoyed the view and the company. We will definitely be back!

We had only a few very small complaints: 1) trash can in kitchen was very tiny and needed to be taken out daily, 2) no recycling bin in kitchen 3) door on the upstairs master bathroom doesn't quite close.

Wine Down @ The Outlook
Was a nice family get away - still lots of construction on new homes directly across from the back driveway and with a 5 bedroom house - providing only 3 parking passes was a little hard. One family had to park in overflow - which is quite far from the house. Worked out and the staff was very responsive and everyone very pleasant. There were a few cleaning, WIFI issues - but were resolved.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is practically brand new with quality furniture and is fully packed with just about everything you'll need for your vacation. Although, in our case, we happened to run out of garbage bags due to there being 6 kids which generate tons of trash but we were able to manage. It's so new that there was still construction going on for other homes across the street but it didn't really bother us. The EV charger is great and the wifi was fast although it did require a rebooting of the router which could only be done by flipping the breaker since it seemed to be locked away in a closet. Despite the minor hiccups, it was overall it was a great stay.

You can’t hear anything from downstairs and barely anything from upstairs while on main floor. Super good for me with teenagers we put all the boys downstairs and didn’t hear a thing at night. Beds super comfortable great place overall. The only thing that was missing was in the kitchen. The house hosts up to 16 people yet the pots, baking dishes and mixing/serving bowls are so small so I found myself using twice as much dishes and cooking things twice or three times. Also no potatoes masher and the cheese grater belongs in a doll house. I will definitely bring some of my own kitchen stuff next time but overall this house is great and on a corner lot so not so close to other houses.

We absolutely loved our stay her. The home was exactly as listed & spotless, amazing location. We cooked a big dinner one of the nights and the kitchen was stocked with everything needed and walked to dinner other evenings. We loved having access to all the amenities of the community and will absolutely be back.

By far the cleanest rental house I have ever stayed in. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, lots of pans and utensils! Such a great stay. We will definitely come back. The room I slept in got very warm and with the thermostat unable to go below 70 degrees I didn't get the best sleep but I heard all other rooms stayed very cool!

The house was exactly as presented in the photos. Mara, with the front office, was very helpful with any questions I had prior to our arrival. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink, but after a call to the office, Larry with maintenance, arrived and quickly fixed the problem. All 10 of us ladies agreed that we would stay here again.

Family Weekend Getaway

It is also close to the vineyard pool and all of the wineries.The only downside was the wifi in the house was very spotty and weak. The wifi was completely out on our last day. The TV had trouble connecting to the internet. We had to buy a comcast to watch a movie. We also had trouble connecting to the audio system. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

Memorial Day Weekend at Wine Down

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A group of friends and I booked the Wine Down for a long weekend. It was perfect for the mix of singles and couples we had. We loved the deck and kitchen space which made it easy to gather. Unfortunately the lower level bathroom sink was out of commission which we had to discover for ourselves. When we contacted the office, the in turn told us they were waiting on a part to fix. I wish they had let us know in advance or perhaps offered a discount of some kind as for the expense we expected a top notch stay. That said the facilities are lovely, the shuttle to/from the beach was a super nice touch. Great place to stay for big groups and families expect a loud stay on a holiday weekend as they houses are very close together.

Not what I expected for the price.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I rented a home for three days and two nights. The Wi-Fi doesn’t really work. I called the office to get help with it. They told me they were going to send maintenance but no one show up! So it’s really hard when you have kids and teenagers at the night who wants to relax and entertain themselves with the TV and their phones if Internet is not working. Also, they have a lot construction going on so they start working at 7:00 am on weekdays so you can’t really relax. I paid $3200 for three days and two nights, so I was really hoping to relax. But that was not the case. The home is beautiful and maybe it will be better once they’re all done with the construction. But I don’t know if I will stay there again anytime soon.

The entire neighborhood exceeded expectations when it comes to garbage pickup, shuttles, and amenities in general. The house in particular has everything you need for a family vacation. Wish the garage was converted into a game area/hangout space like some of the other homes but maybe that’s coming soon (garage was completely empty).

Wine Down....we did!

Reviewer Comments: A few things you should know. The lights need dimmers....they were too bright. The ice maker did not work for us. The stove top heat could not be adjusted, so things would burn.....the oven had a problem in that regard. There is a light bulb needed in the stove hood. The upstairs ceiling vents rattled so difficult to sleep....this was the far left bedroom, dish soap dispenser was empty, the dryer didn’t dry things. I think it might need an element because it seemed to overheat but not dry things .when we called housekeeping it took 3 1/2 hours to bring toilet paper.Your staff was kind and the house is lovely. The location was not. Our view was a conatuction sight. This was our 3rd year at the Lookout. Thankyou for the service that was provided. I know it’s a lot of work. Just thought you would like to know these things for your next guests...regards, Patty
