If you are searching for a lavish and expansive retreat to spend quality time with your loved ones, look no further than Hacienda del Lago! This exquisitely upgraded home, nestled in the serene Lake District, boasts awe-inspiring views of Lake Chelan and is close to the waterfront, marina, and Hilltop pool for your convenience.

Upon entering, you'll be greeted by a stylish and cozy modern farmhouse ambiance, complete with stainless steel appliances, a large pantry, and all the amenities a food enthusiast could hope for in the spacious kitchen. The main floor presents a grand living area, featuring a sectional couch, flat-screen streaming TV, and a ten-person dining table, as well as a secluded hot tub, gas grill, and outdoor lounge furniture on the deck.

On the upper level, the primary bedroom offers a breathtaking deck, a private bathroom with a double vanity, flat-screen TV, and a Mitsubishi air conditioning unit to ensure your comfort during the warm summer months. The queen bedroom on the upper level also boasts a private bath and flat-screen TV.

The lower level offers a charming queen bedroom and a bunk room with two full-over-full bunk beds, along with a media room equipped with games, puzzles, and a treadmill for your entertainment and fitness needs.

During the summer season (May - September), a 2-car garage access with a ping pong table and an extra full-sized refrigerator is accessible during the stay. Hacienda del Lago does NOT accept pets and is strictly a non-smoking home.

The Lookout community is growing, and construction activity may occur during your stay. Construction hours vary by season but fall between 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and weekends. Don't hesitate to contact Lookout Cottage Rentals with any questions or concerns.

My only negative feedback is that the downstairs was VERY cold, a dramatic temperature drop from the rest of the house. Property management offered space heaters but they are not safe especially with young children.

More Cowbell was a perfect June experience
Although a previous visitor to Lake Chelan, this was my first time renting at Lookout Cottages and I was overjoyed about the whole experience. I will definitely book again at Lookout, and book More Cowbell. The house: we had 8 people+2 dogs and there were enough comfy beds for all. Love the open floor plan between kitchen, dining, living rooms. Astonishing view of lake from deck with hot tub and gas fire pit. Extra house amenities a bonus: ping pong, cornhole, bicycles, pool floaties. Loved that More Cowbell house is on the edge/outskirts of the Lookout community as it offers more privacy and a few steps away from valet service stop. Lookout community amenities: pool, hot tub, bocce, pickleball, valet service to private beach and marina, dog walking paths. A few minutes drive from downtown Chelan.

The only thing that I didn’t like is the anti-Christian culture in the house. There were a variety of images and artifacts that were anti-Christian and even disrespectful to my religion. I didn’t feel comfortable having those things in the same house I was sleeping in. I believe these houses should be neutral in order to respect the guests religious beliefs. I would totally recommend this house if those anti-Christian artifacts were not there.

Wonderful Rental!

Lots of relaxing, watching movies, napping and playing with Christmas gifts. Loved the hot tub! The house is fabulous! Beautiful views, completely stocked with everything you could ever need and so cozy! Highly recommend. Would love to come back in the summer. One issue we had was that the internet was not working when we arrived and the lady at the office said it was after hours so she would have someone reach out to us soon and nobody ever called. Luckily my husband was able to tweak the router and got it to work. There was also someone’s underwear in one of the closets upstairs.

The Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: One of the best homes in the Lookout community for sure! Modern/updated appliances and decor throughout the home. Lots of additional amenities like board games, anything you'd need in the kitchen even foil, ziplocs, sticks for smores, etc., bikes, ping pong, lots of towels. The only thing we couldn't find were scissors so we used a knife. The location was perfectly by the pathway down to the lake and still close by to the hilltop pool (not heated). The community itself is very hilly, so expect a good workout but very doable. Everything was very clean, but we could not find the sink disposable and noticed ants on the countertop as the sink would not fully drain great. The deck is amazing and well worth the $$$, hot tub/bbq/dining all terrific, the fire table was great too but needed some practice getting the igniter to light. Overall though, we genuinely enjoyed our stay and will 100% recommend and be back again. Would have also loved to have the option of some sort of concierge to help make reservations or coordinate activities - maybe something management can incorporate? Thank you!

The kids loved riding the shuttles around Chelan Lookout. The kitchen has everything you need. We absolutely loved the community. We were there during a heat wave and the air conditioners would not keep up - only complaint. We are from Kansas City and love the PNW. Recommend Slidewaters, Endless Orchard, Wineries in Manson. We will definitely be back.

The dishwasher didn’t work during our stay and we were offered a discount but never got it, broken chairs in the deck that were actually a bit dangerous to have been left that way , and major issues getting WiFi to work or any streaming. Needs tech upgrades. Also had quite a few earwigs and bugs in the basement. This is our sixth home rental in The Outlook but the one that needed the most maintenance. Beautiful home with a tiny bit of work on it.

Reviewer Comments: We love staying at the Hacienda del Lago, in fact it is our second time staying here. However they desperately need to upgrade all the TV’s. We had technical issues so we had to call the resort for help several times, no local stations so we couldn’t watch an important sports game to us. We were told that the new owner refused to upgrade. However the house is always lovely. All the beds are so comfortable and the best views of the lake. Ooh and maybe provide coffee for when the quests (us) forget to bring some.

Great Location, Lacking Comfort

Unfortunately for the size of the home it’s lacking appropriate serving utensils, plates, and enough silverware, which is difficult for larger families/groups who don’t want to spend their vacation constantly washing dishes. The beds were very uncomfortable and the bunk beds were rickety. In general the bedroom furnishings could use reconsideration especially when there is a note in the home’s binder about the master bedroom dresser drawers being rough and can tear clothing. Also, the living room tv only offers limited streaming apps, making it impossible to watch even the Macy’s parade unless you bring HDMI cords to connect to your own phone/laptop to stream from. This became very difficult when the WiFi went out our last day.

Finally, 3rd times the charm we were able to lock in a 3rd reservation and stayed at the More Cowbell house. Although this house was great (clean, beautiful, great views) - it's disappointing that we received no discount or refund for our troubles of booking a place and the stress of having 2 previous reservations canceled last minute.

The view by the water was absolutely stunning. And the house and amenities were perfect. Pet friendly house with everything you need. The decor inside was beautiful. And the house was stocked with appliances like an ice maker and an air fryer. The little things that made a huge difference. A treadmill, bikes, pool table, video games. And books for the book lover. I will be back with my family because this vacation home had us fall in love with Lake Chelan. The neighborhood was so safe and friendly. And so dog friendly. Hot tub on the balcony surrounded by the hills and the exquisite views. Highly recommend the lookout. And cowbell 63.
