"This is a 3 star hotel that was very clean. The bathroom was big and clean. It is about a 15 minute walk to the night market. There is a laundry across the street and convenience stores within a 10 minute walk. Massage vendors are a 15 minute walk, as well as many restaurants. We would stay here again"

"A smaller hotel but with excellent comfort, great amenities and a fresh/recently renovated feel. Indoor pool is in an odd spot in the central atrium but it adds nicely to the European courtyard atmosphere. Excellent breakfast buffet, especially considering it is a small hotel."

"Blue Lagoon was an excellent experience and perfect choice for my five nights in Chiang Rai. Super clean and the staff were perfectly gracious and friendly and responsive. Breakfast was served in spacious open patio and offered a good selection, but a little challenging for a vegetarian. Central location was convenient, too, and easy to roll to the bus station when moving on to Chiang Mai. "

"We had stayed at another B2 and thought they would all be similar. Not so. Basic small sized accommodation and although called night bazaar was a 10 min walk to it on roads with no sidewalk. I had asked re laundry service and they couldn’t tell me of any, and then we found one 100m away. No kettle. But all the cleaning staff were lovely. We figured out you had to put sign on door for clean if needed. No one told us that. "

"This homestay was absolutely excellent. Perfect in every way, especially for a nice romantic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sitting on the back patio with your loved one(s) and watching a sunrise and the shadow of the mountains behind you during the sunset is absolutely incredible. "The property is in a nice location with lots of houses and cute hipster coffee shops and the belle epoque styling is very charming. They’ve definitely fallen behind on maintenance, though. There’s quite a bit of cracked tile and infiltrated water which just gives the whole experience an air of shabbiness. It’s a shame because it’s an otherwise very charming place "
