"What an amazing hotel ! It's split into two halves, with the dining (and much more - chapel, art gallery, lovely rooms, including a games room!) in a separate building across the courtyard. If it's raining, there is a tunnel connecting the two! The breakfast was very good - the evening meal (we had half-board) was reasonably good, not outstanding. We couldn't use the large outdoor pool this time, but it's impressive. Our main comment is about the staff, who were very friendly and incredibly...

"The owner and his family were very nice and made us feel at home. We had the owners wine and it was excellent. Breakfast was also very good with home made apple & walnut cake. I just wish there was a better matrice pad as it was like sleeping on plastic."
