"We loved the well equipped kitchen, which allowed for proper self catering. Lovely outside eating and barbeque area. Lots of other outside seating areas, great to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. We loved the pool which was a big bonus to the holiday. The rest of the house was clean and well appointed. Sylvie was friendly and very helpful. We liked the village and surrounding area and have already booked for next year, can't wait to return!"

"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Lots of room for the four of us (but it would easily have taken two more). All of the rooms were spacious and the house is very well equipped with everything you need. Plenty of outside space and the heated pool was large and kept to a good temperature. Lots of information from the host before arrival, he also checked in via email during our stay and there was a welcome pack with some essentials when we arrived. Highly recommended."

"We had two lovely week holiday at The Chai and cannot fault anything. Anne and her husband are the perfect hosts-friendly, welcoming and happy to provide ideas and advice for places to visit. They were always available but never intrusive. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. We loved the pool (it was an ideal temperature) and the plentiful children's games were a bonus. The garden was perfect for the children to play in too, enclosed and lots of space for them to run around. Have to mention the views and the beautiful sunsets as well! Highly recommend a stay here.
