"Our party of 12 of all ages had a great break in this fantastic property. The layout worked superbly for 4 different families yet allowed us to come together for large meals together. The secure pool area was especially good for the grandkids. The property is close enough to the beach yet set in quiet countryside, so there is something for everyone. "The house is NOT appropriate for winter rental letting. The main room's only heating system is the old fashionned fire place. The house is not insulated at all. There are gaps around the doors which we tried to block with our sleeping bags; there was no functionning heaters in any of the bedrooms. The first two nights stay the thermometer registered 8 degrees! The manager, Wendy Williams, promptly brought extra wood and elelctrical heaters. Unfortunately, the heaters tripped the electrical...
