I stayed here for the weekend with boyfriend. It was right in the city, so everything was close and in walking distance. The college is right down the street, and there’s a bar right next door. Would recommend!

We were in a room in the basement. The place was lovely, but the bottom floor smelled vaguely of cat box. Also, we turned the heat on the room all the way down to sleep and still roasted all night. Wasn't a pleasant experience.

This is a hostel. The rooms are private, clean, safe, and comfortable. There are 2 shower/ baths per floor and another bathroom w/o a shower. Management texted my info for parking, room entry, and building entry (lock on the front door). The location is convienent to lots of D/T. For the price (~$50 cheaper than a comparable hotel in the area), it was well worth it.

I have traveled quite a bit and never have I heard of a hostel called a guest house so we were surprised to learn that was what we were getting. The advertising on Expedia never indicated that there would be shared bathroom and showers. We weren’t excited but could roll with it. That was just the beginning. We had a room in the basement which wasn’t convenient to get to with a lot of luggage, then the smell in the basement was horrible. It smelled like cat pee. And the smell was so bad that we took to holding our breath to get to our room. Had our room smelled like that I would have demanded a different room or refund. The bed was a Murphy bed and was so worn out and sagged in the middle that sleep was little and we hurt so bad after two nights that I couldn’t wait to leave. It also comes with a resident dog that barked until late into the night because people were up all through the night. It was incredibly noisy even with ear plugs. All in all it was a very bad stay and one I won’t repeat or recommend to anyone.

Really enjoyed our stay. Had a small issue with the TV but the property manager took care of it immediately after I reported the issue. Rooms were very nice and beds were comfortable. We will be staying here again on our next trip to Chattanooga.
