Brilliant Southside Home on 2 Acre Park + Pet Friendly

Enjoy the best of Southside restaurants and downtown attractions within walking distance from Chattanooga’s first LEED certified home.
Sustainable + Efficient design across the street from park, playground & pavilion. Plentiful + free parking. Perfect for families vacationing, visiting relatives or participating in Ironman/Athletic competitions or work remotely with the fastest residential internet - The Gig!

Entrance to the home is through the front door equipped with door code lock. On street parking is free of charge. For parking, we ask our guests to not park in the driveway as it is a shared driveway, you may park either in the spot direct behind the home under the basketball goal or directly in front & along the chain link fence.

Behind the house there are train tracks. Trains come though night and day. The trains can sometimes be heard (a very low hum) or sometimes they will clank together or squeak. To help with this, we have white noise machines beside all the beds. They work well and guests report they drown out any noises so you can sleep without interruption. There are two settings on the white noise machines (high and low). I have also provided complimentary single use ear plugs.

Downtown stay
Jennie was a great host that made sure we had what we needed. The place is even better than the pictures. The location is great and the people around the neighborhood are extremely friendly and nice. Parking was easy and convenient. The park is a huge bonus for dogs and kids. Great stay!

Perfect for our weekend in Chattanooga
This rental was super clean and had all the little touches…from trick or treat candy for the neighborhood, to a sound machines/earplugs in each bedroom, to a perfectly appointed kitchen we had all we needed and then some for a perfect stay. We also appreciate the local recommendations…they did not disappoint. We will be back!

We stayed at the Southside Home for 5 days and it was the perfect layout, location and home! We enjoyed the park across the street every afternoon. The kitchen came with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. I recommend anyone coming to visit Chattanooga stay here, whether it be with family with littles or a group of friends!

Close to perfect
In a part of town that is rebuilding. Lots of great properties. Convenient to downtown. Lots of great eats close by. Host was amazing! Quick responses and great suggestions. The accommodations worked perfectly for our stay. Couldn’t have been more pleased. The railroad is very close to the back of the house and very active but it did not disturb our sleep.

We chose this home for a family getaway. It was perfect for us. Check in was simple, great communication with the friendly owner. Jenny goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The park, just steps from the front door, was a bonus for our two little ones and the dogs. Super cute neighborhood. Walked to a great restaurant- Taqueria- took maybe 10 mins. I’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot for our Ironman competitors
Jennie is ABSOLUTELY wonderful and the property is dog friendly. With a great park across the street for walks. The neighborhood was very nice and we met many of the neighbors. There is a freight railroad that runs close to the backyard. Jennie provides earplugs and sound machines and the trains really didn’t disturb us. The kitchen is well-appointed and a coffee-grinder let us grind our daily beans to make great coffee. Our stay in Chattanooga was fabulous!

Great House in Fun Neighbourhood
We really enjoyed our stay at Jennie’s. Super clean and comfortable and well designed. We loved walking to the fantastic restaurants and breweries and our dog loved the park just out front. The white noise machines were a thoughtful addition as were the earplugs as it does back into the train track. Jennie was lovely to deal with and we are already looking forward to returning next year!

Awesome location
In Chattanooga for a family wedding, so found this property that would be close to wedding activities. Jennie was great to work with and very communicative. House was clean, had everything we needed and was exactly as described. Neighborhood was nice and close to a really neat area of town with unique shops and places to eat. Wish we had more time to wander around. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great property and host!
The home is lovely and very well stocked with essentials that make staying there easy. I was able to easily cook a meal and have everything I needed just like at home. It’s nice that you’re right next to a park with a sand volleyball court and a playground. The location was ideal for going to the aquarium and the zoo. There are also plenty of great restaurants close by that you can choose. Jennie was very thoughtful with reaching out while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable. I’d highly recommend staying here! We would definitely stay here in the future!

Wonderful place in a neat area of town, so fun to have the park and coffee shops/restaurants so close. Jenny was awesome! She was so accommodating and friendly when we contacted her. A Perfect Home Away From Home
We had the most wonderful experience staying at Jennie’s place during college move-in weekend. From the moment we arrived, we felt like we had found our own cozy home away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The location couldn’t have been more ideal. Situated in the beautiful neighborhood of Jefferson Heights, we were surrounded by picturesque streets and charming architecture. It truly felt like a peaceful. The neighborhood itself was a gem. We discovered a plethora of fantastic restaurants and shops within walking distance, making it a great area to explore. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed. The attention to detail was evident throughout the space, and it was clear that the host had put a lot of thought into creating a welcoming atmosphere. Nice house in a great location.
The house is very nice, plenty of room for our family of 3 and puppy. The location is close to many Chattanooga attractions and the park across the street is great for pets. The train tracks are right there but the white noise machines took care of that issue.

Artsy Chattanooga home
This home had so much art appeal and was close to everything. My family and I were hardly in the home because we planned out our entire stay, but we really enjoyed the accommodations while we were in the home. Very close to lookout mountain, Ruby Falls, the Tennessee aquarium, and downtown. The home was located in a wonderful little neighborhood but there are some industrial looking areas just outside of the neighborhood. The train runs behind the home and it is noticeable but it was not bad. We did not even really use the white noise generators. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone coming to see Chattanooga.

Spring Break
We had a wonderful stay in Chattanooga. The house was lovely, and the location was perfect! We used the park across the street multiple times a day. We were able to walk to breakfast and dinner, and it was a short drive to most of our sightseeing destinations. The house was incredibly clean and stocked with all of the essentials. We hope to visit this property again in the future!

Great location, home and stay!
Wonderful home, great floor plan and decor. Within walking distance of great food and activities! Our dog loved the park. The train noise was not a surprise as the host is very transparent on what to expect. And you are in Chatanooga! There are trains everywhere.
