Brilliant Southside Home on 2 Acre Park + Pet Friendly

Enjoy the best of Southside restaurants and downtown attractions within walking distance from Chattanooga’s first LEED certified home.
Sustainable + Efficient design across the street from park, playground & pavilion. Plentiful + free parking. Perfect for families vacationing, visiting relatives or participating in Ironman/Athletic competitions or work remotely with the fastest residential internet - The Gig!

Entrance to the home is through the front door equipped with door code lock. On street parking is free of charge. For parking, we ask our guests to not park in the driveway as it is a shared driveway, you may park either in the spot direct behind the home under the basketball goal or directly in front & along the chain link fence.

Behind the house there are train tracks. Trains come though night and day. The trains can sometimes be heard (a very low hum) or sometimes they will clank together or squeak. To help with this, we have white noise machines beside all the beds. They work well and guests report they drown out any noises so you can sleep without interruption. There are two settings on the white noise machines (high and low). I have also provided complimentary single use ear plugs.

Downtown stay
Jennie was a great host that made sure we had what we needed. The place is even better than the pictures. The location is great and the people around the neighborhood are extremely friendly and nice. Parking was easy and convenient. The park is a huge bonus for dogs and kids. Great stay!

Weekend in Chatt
We stayed at the Southside Home for 5 days and it was the perfect layout, location and home! We enjoyed the park across the street every afternoon. The kitchen came with everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner. I recommend anyone coming to visit Chattanooga stay here, whether it be with family with littles or a group of friends!

Perfect for our weekend in Chattanooga
This rental was super clean and had all the little touches…from trick or treat candy for the neighborhood, to a sound machines/earplugs in each bedroom, to a perfectly appointed kitchen we had all we needed and then some for a perfect stay. We also appreciate the local recommendations…they did not disappoint. We will be back!

Great house to explore Chattanooga. Well decorated, comfortable beds, and walkable to some cool bars and restaurants. Very attentive and responsive host. One of the best VRBO experiences we’ve had.

Close to perfect
In a part of town that is rebuilding. Lots of great properties. Convenient to downtown. Lots of great eats close by. Host was amazing! Quick responses and great suggestions. The accommodations worked perfectly for our stay. Couldn’t have been more pleased. The railroad is very close to the back of the house and very active but it did not disturb our sleep.

Beautiful home conveniently located to everything. The park across the street makes for a nice place to walk off the great meals you can enjoy at the many great restaurants less than a mile away.

Great House in Fun Neighbourhood
We really enjoyed our stay at Jennie’s. Super clean and comfortable and well designed. We loved walking to the fantastic restaurants and breweries and our dog loved the park just out front. The white noise machines were a thoughtful addition as were the earplugs as it does back into the train track. Jennie was lovely to deal with and we are already looking forward to returning next year!

Great stay at a Prime location!
This is such a beautiful house in a beautiful area! It’s is within walking distance of downtown and is perfect for walking to breweries. This area surrounding the house was well kept and family friendly area. If you are staying in Chattanooga this is the perfect place

We chose this home for a family getaway. It was perfect for us. Check in was simple, great communication with the friendly owner. Jenny goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. The park, just steps from the front door, was a bonus for our two little ones and the dogs. Super cute neighborhood. Walked to a great restaurant- Taqueria- took maybe 10 mins. I’d definitely stay here again.

Perfect for UTChat visit
My husband, daughter and two of her friends stayed here during freshman orientation at UTChat. It was the perfect location. Very close to campus. Enough room for all of us. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice house in a great location.
The house is very nice, plenty of room for our family of 3 and puppy. The location is close to many Chattanooga attractions and the park across the street is great for pets. The train tracks are right there but the white noise machines took care of that issue.

Perfect spot for our Ironman competitors
Jennie is ABSOLUTELY wonderful and the property is dog friendly. With a great park across the street for walks. The neighborhood was very nice and we met many of the neighbors. There is a freight railroad that runs close to the backyard. Jennie provides earplugs and sound machines and the trains really didn’t disturb us. The kitchen is well-appointed and a coffee-grinder let us grind our daily beans to make great coffee. Our stay in Chattanooga was fabulous!

Wonderful place in a neat area of town, so fun to have the park and coffee shops/restaurants so close. Jenny was awesome! She was so accommodating and friendly when we contacted her. Every year we ride bikes and eat something at every restaurant possible. Nice house on the side of Chattanooga we normally don’t see. Plenty of great restaurants.
