15 Mins to Chattanooga - Peaceful Farm Pool House

Summary:
Escape the city in comfort at our Farm pool house (pool is open seasonally, May 1- October 1), a spacious retreat on a scenic farm 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Ideal for families, groups, or solo getaways, it offers two bedrooms, a loft, and two bathrooms. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, cozy dining area, four queen beds, a sleeper sofa, a 55-inch TV, and a desk. Relaxation and adventure await!

The Space:
***The pool is open seasonally, May 1 through October 1. Access information is provided with a fee; please reach out to reserve the pool! The pool is not exclusive to this home. It is available to guests in all tiny homes and glamping tents on the farm.***

Step outside and breathe in the fresh country air. Relax on comfortable outdoor seating, fire up the charcoal grill for a meal with a view, or gather around the fire pits for an evening under the stars. Take a refreshing dip in the seasonal saltwater pool (open May 1 - Oct 1) while soaking in the farm’s scenic beauty.

For explorers, the farm is easily accessible by car or a scenic walk along the trail, where you can experience the animals, gardens, and natural surroundings up close.

Note: The nearby chicken coop means you'll hear roosters crowing in the morning.

We have a guardian Great Pyrenees who protects farm animals from coyotes. He is gentle with other dogs but does like to play. If your dog is not friendly or doesn’t like to play, it’s probably not wise to bring your dog. We can’t put Sampson up because he has to guard the livestock.

**We love our farm and know you will too! Interested in exploring? Please reach out! We offer tours for $25. Farm-fresh eggs are also available during your stay for $5/dozen. Interested in using the pool? Please reach out, access information will be provided with a fee. The pool is not exclusive to this home. It is available to guests in all tiny homes and glamping tents on the farm.

***We have weekly maintenance and cleaning performed on our pool. The pool services do not take long and should not disrupt your stay. We will need access to the yard/pool area if you stay with us on service day. Thanks for understanding!

****Please note there are many animals on the property. We love them and want to respect their space. Feel free to play with the chickens and Sampson, but please enjoy all other animals from a distance!****

Guest Access:
The house has a digital keypad at the front door which will provide you access to the house. The code will be provided upon check-in. You will have full and private access to the home.

The Neighborhood:
Nestled in the scenic foothills of Lookout Mountain, our location offers a mix of rural charm and convenient access to the city, making it a peaceful yet accessible location. The neighborhood is quiet and surrounded by natural beauty, with nearby attractions like the Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park, as well as outdoor recreational opportunities, hiking trails, and stunning mountain views. It’s just a short drive from downtown Chattanooga.

Getting Around:
Uber, Lyft, and other Taxi available, but driving is encouraged!

Other Things to Note:
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.

We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.

If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Pictures can be deceiving
We feel a bit deceived by the listing:The pictures of the property are clean and welcoming but the place is actually unkempt and needs a good deep cleaning. The recent bathroom updates were done incorrectly. There is a sewer smell in large bathroom and the tub crunches when standing in it. We understand paying a cleaning fee, but we wonder where it's going as it wasn’t cleaned for our stay. On web sight it states: Escape to comfort and cozy:  Comfort of filthy floors that have not been mopped (when I wiped up water off of the floor the paper toweling was very dirty), counter tops weren't wiped down, and the cottage was FULL of spider webs. The smaller shower was filthy with hair and the bottom of it was black with dirt. Some areas appear to have never been cleaned with dirt build up. -Fully equipped: water put into all the soap dispensers with nothing to refill them. We tried to clean the shower, but only found cleaning spray with no brush. The comforter upstairs had a stain on it. You see a beautiful fireplace as the focal point of the cottage, but when asked if we could use it we were told it was for decor only. This might have been believable if it wasn’t full of ashes from previous use, also had a full ash bucket and a pile of wood on the porch by the sliding door. Their large dog poop is all over outside. We thought overall the place was cute and had a fun stay, but would not return unless the issues above were addressed and it had a deep cleaning.
