We stayed at the Wander Lodge with a large group of friends for a weekend away. It was more than comfortable for the 13 of us!
We had a wonderful time and the hosts were amazing to deal with. Definitely recommend!
There were quite a few of us that stayed at this property and it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. Lots of room and beautiful outside too.
Had around 12 friends over in total and the property fit everyone just fine. The firepit was a great chance for us to roast some marshmallows and the living room was just beautiful.
Would come here again.

Interesting property
The firepit area is nice and the house is spacious.
The listing says there's a pool but there really isn't a functional one.. there's a very small above ground pool behind a shed and it looked too dirty to get in.
My friends and I stayed here overnight and we all really like the place. The bonfire had a lot of chairs for all of us and the string lights were actually working which was great. Thought there would be a lot of bugs inside of a place in this area but surprisingly few. Would definitely recommend. Owner communicated well too. Was a bit hard to get the key out of the lockbox initially but we eventually figured it out.

Cozy space- but has some issues
Its a great place to spend time indoors in winter.
But there is no option for privacy. Even the washroom doors can't be locked.
Space doesn't have any soundproofing so everyone has to sleep and wake up at the same time.
Outdoors also had a lot of dog poo so we had to be careful walking our dogs.
We arrived and had not yet received the access code and there was a woman claiming she lived in the upper apartment and a man lived in the lower section. After attempting to reach the owners without success we went to see if the doors were open. They were open but clearly someone was living there and the place was a mess. I attempted to contact VRBO without any success and then the reservation was canceled and refunded. I received a text from the owner saying there was property damage due to flood. We could clearly see there was no flood damage and someone was living there. The owners suggested we stay at a travelodge instead. We ended up having to find other accommodations.
The floors were not cleaned well. There were dishes left in the sink and dishwasher, wasn’t expecting to have to put other peoples clean dishes away upon checking in. one of the shelves on the fridges door broke off. We then noticed all of them were actually held on by duct tape. Not very strong duct tape as it did in fact break off and a bottle of wine smashed on the floor. Upon looking for cleaning supplies we realized there wasn’t any. Went for a walk around the property and there was garbage scattered throughout the property. Listing says it has a hot tub and pool. We couldn’t find it so we resulted in texting the home owners. They responded about the pool saying it hasn’t been maintained. It’s an above ground pool that wasn’t even put up. Texted them again about the hot tub and did not receive a text back. There is no hot tub, we looked everywhere. The patio cushions weren’t put out so the one balcony just had uncomfortable seating. My bed sheets had stains so I shared a bed with a friend. When we woke up in the morning there was no hydro. We couldn’t use the washrooms to go to the bathroom or brush our teeth, nothing worked to make breakfast, and we couldn’t clean any of the dishes from the night before. We googled and found out it was a scheduled hydro outrage. Texted the home owners as they should have gotten notice, and once again got no reply. Resulted in us packing up our things and leaving at 8am instead of enjoying our morning till check out time at 11.
