"Chambre choisie côté vue de la vallée. Décoration au top, accès possible aux salons de la bâtisse. les hôtes sont très sympathiques, attentifs et serviables. Le petit déjeuner était exactement ce que j aime : fruits, jus de fruits, pain, beurres au choix, confitures excellentes, thé, kfir, brioche ou madeleine. Dommage, je n ai pas pu profiter de la table d hôtes, réputée. Je compte bien revenir aux beaux jours pour profiter de la vue, de la terrasse et de la piscine également ! "

"accueil et sejour chez des gens très sympathiques dans un environnement très agréable, que le bruit des oiseaux. la chambre est spacieuse et la literie au top,( douce fermeté). le petit déjeuner copieux avec que des produits maison. le fait de pouvoir garer la voiture dans un jardin fermé est rassurant quand on vient de la cote d'azur.Je donnerai l'adresse à des amis qui doivent venir au Puy du Fou."

"Une nuit réservée à l'occasion du CFD, vu de l'extérieur, le lieu ne paraît vraiment pas accueillant, cela fait même un peu peur quand on vient d'arriver, l'hôte parle mal français et n'est pas tres presentable, nous ne sommes pas rassurés. Une fois quelques mots échangés et une fois rentrés dans la maison, ce n'est plus la même ambiance, l'intérieur a le charme fou d'une maison ancienne et l'hôte est très agréable. "If you are looking for an experience, the Priory does not disappoint. The only room on the property for guests has ties to the Romans from the year 1070. The church itself is decommissioned, but continues to host concerts. Being from the United States, opportunities to be surrounded by such history do not exist. "Séjour très agréable chez Ségolène et Dominique, notre famille de 13 personnes est arrivée dans cette grande maison, chacun son espace, 4 grandes chambres avec 3 salles de bain….très bon petit déjeuner avec le cake et la brioche maison de Ségolène….Propriétaire très accueillant et très arrangeant...on recommande ces chambres d'hôte, proche de la forêt de Mervent avec son zoo."

"this is not an hotel. you have to make your own bed, they do not provide any towel, and there is a note asking you to take out the bedsheets and clean before you leave. It is kind of a camping site composed of cheaply made bungalows, more or less clean, 2 bedrooms + 1 sofa, 6 persons total, furnished, equipped, dishes and pans. "It was a little hard to find but the welcome was excellent, the location was in beautiful country, peaceful and unspoilt yet only 2km off the road to Auch. The owner is a wonderful cook so dinner and breakfast were superb with a nice wine menu. The room and bathroom were well decorated, everything to like."

"Staff good . Bedding clean and comfortable. Air conditioning not working, mouldy shower ceiling, carpet very worn. Whole hotel needs a revamp. Breakfast buffet not great choice. Overpriced. Car parking very easy and hotel was not noisy. Would not use again unless keen to stay in Parthenay."

"We stayed at the hotel as part of a long drive back from the South West of France. The people working at the hotel were super helpful, providing an option to manage our late arrival, providing breakfast at short notice and helping with any questions we had. The family room we stayed in was large and easily accommodate two adults and two kids. "
