"After a long journey we were looking forward to getting into our property. Unfortunately first we needed to find they key which was attached to a gate quite a distance from the property. The instructions were unclear, so after 30 mins of walking to all the possible places, we rang Chicaparts. A grumpy person just repeated the same instructions to us over and over. "This is a beautiful place in a beautiful spot. The only thing to criticize was the lack of communication with the host. We arrived at the apartment with no information of how to enter. Unfortunately, our US phone was not able to call Vrbo and we were stuck. Fortunately, at about the same time, people staying next door arrived. They were able to make the phone call and get us in all well after that! You will enjoy!"

"This is a quaint little getaway. Host prepares you for noise, but really there was little noise in the apartment. Great location and comfortable, new, clean apartment."

"Appartement correct bien situé mais sans aucune vue dégagée dommage. Par contre, au niveau vaisselle, il y a peu de couverts, pas de casseroles et le four est sale. Le lave vaisselle n'est pas très efficace. Il n'y a pas 6 chaises alors qu'on peut y dormir à 6. Pour un séjour d'un WE, c'est pas terrible. On s'est adapté."

"We were greeted warmly. Our host Pascal helped with getting our luggage up to the second floor apartment, third in the US. The apartment was roomy, very clean with a fantastic view of the river. There was a lovely linear park along the river with a pathway that we could walk on to get to the town center. Vernon was a nice city itself and it afforded easy access to historic sites outside the city. The museum in Vernon was well worth a visit. We very much enjoyed our stay."

"Photos don't do this comfortable stylish apartment justice and give no clue to the charming and very helpful host who made us very welcome. We hadn't realised just how much we could achieve staying here. Access to lovely walks both sides of the river, an interesting town with a choice of good restaurants, easy access to Giverny and even a train to Rouen to explore that fascinating medieval town. Too much for one week's holiday we will have to return."

"I am astounded at the outcome of my recent stay at this property. I checked into the house on my arrival date. Unpacked and then went to the supermarket for some supplies. I returned and was eating some food when the owner came to the door and told me that i was not booked in to stay there, that there was no booking and she had not received the money for my booking. She then proceeded to evict me from the property immediately at 21:00 hours. I was there on business and was left with no choice...
