"Nous sommes restes au clos Mirabel et ce fut une excellente surprise. L’endroit est bien entendu magnifique mais c’est surtout la gentillesse et le professionnalisme des hôtes (Rachel et sa famille) et la qualité des prestations qui nous ont enchantées (superbe maison, et Rachel est une excellente cuisinière qui a pu nous faire un excellent repas sans que nous ayons prévenus). "Hotel had nice upgrades to common space w/ indoor pool/spa and sauna. Breakfast area was nice, but we didn't have breakfast any of the mornings. Rooms are tiny, but apparently standard for France. Hotel is in a weird industrial area, but quiet. Eery at night, but seemingly safe and totally fine. Sleepy town. "

"Very clean, comfy bed, friendly service and a beautiful setting. The hotel is in an old wood and stone building, in the middle of the corn fields, with a view of the Pyrenees mountains. A very nice stay for a romantic getaway. The breakfast was good, continental. The only thing I would suggest is to put the coffee in smaller cups as it gets cold quickly, but that is the only thing I would change about my stay, it was beautiful! Merci! "

"Nice location across the street from Pau airport. Unfortunately my flight was canceled. Taxis and Uber unreliable, so i missed my train. Very small tv, no remote so useless. No shampoo, old towels. They seem to be trying to make this a nice small hotel, but basics are lacking. "

"Appart'City was perfect for our six night stay in Pau. We had all the amenities of an apartment with the services that a hotel provides. The location couldn't have been better on Rue Marechal Joffre with its lovely shops and restaurants.(Highly recommend Resto di Vin) It is a half-block from Place Clemenceau with its carousel and fountain, a block from the Monoprix, and two blocks from the Blvd. Pyrenees. Surprisingly, with all the activities right outside our door, the apartment was very quiet at night. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were able to take advantage of early check-in. "

Wonderful Stay

"We had a terrific stay at Ken and Shona's rental. The house was full of character, very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen in a quiet and scenic neighbourhood. As cyclists, it was a great spot to launch a bike ride from with countless quiet backroads that were picturesque beyond belief. The house was close to all amenities and it was easy to busier roads/highways to travel to other towns and cities such as Pau, Bayonne etc. The pet donkeys were a special treat and we looked forward to seeing them in the mornings while drinking our coffee in the backyard. Shona and Ken were incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had. We would highly recommend this house!"
