"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

"Nous avons passé un super séjour en famille cet été aux Marchaisons, merci Sophie!. Nous avons apprécié que la propriété soit au calme, et en même temps à proximité de villages alentours. La maison était parfaite pour notre séjour, un très grand nombre de chambres, de l'espace intérieur (joliment aménagé) comme extérieur qui a permis à nos enfants de se défouler entre le jardin et la piscine. Nous y avons de beaux souvenirs, merci. Nous reviendrons volontiers, je recommande!"

"The house was lovely. Plenty of room for the 4 of us and perfect, fully enclosed garden, for our 2 dogs. Very well equipped with everything we needed. The house is in a tiny hamlet and it was so peaceful and relaxing. Cows and chickens for neighbours! Some lovely walks right out of the end of the drive. "We had a very nice family get together in this spacious and beautiful house and garden. The house had a lived in feel and was generously provided which meant we had everything that we needed to enjoy our time together and the small children especially loved the enclosed garden with swings, a Wendy house and children’s toys and seats The proprietor very kindly picked us up from the station and gave us a warm welcome. We would certainly recommend it to other families."
