"A little gem near Auxerre. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower provided plenty of hot water. Gerome made us feel like house guests. We had the use of the kitchen to make drinks etc. Gerome cooked for us a meal on both nights with accompanying wines. Excellent."

And to get in you need to get them to open the gates (best to arrive in daylight). Your hostess will leave to your own devices during your stay but will have breakfast ready for you every morning at your specified time and will stay to chat with you during it.
