"A very unique property that does not fit any criteria neatly. Our room has a separate dining room and basic kitchen. Yes the property is old but it’s not tired. It is family run with great pride. And what a location right under the rocks of Meteora and within walking distance of three of the monasteries for those who are ready for the steps. You do need nerves of steel to drive up the narrow streets to get to the hotel!"

The staff made us to-go bags of food which was very nice. They had great information on the Meteora monasteries. It was walking distance to the trail to start the long hike up the mountain. The staff answered all our questions. Nice view of the mountains from our room deck. "

"We had an exceptional experience starting from the first minute we stepped into the lobby. We were greeted by a receptionist, a very kind lady who provided us with local area maps. The room was cute and cozy. It was updated and looking modern. The next morning we had a good breakfast. The receptionist helped to plan an efficient Meteora tour. The day was simply magnificent. The hotel also provided a recommendation for a nearby tavern, it was delicious."
