This historic property was originally built in 1844. It is five (5) brick thick! Its roof was razed by the fire of 1869 but the remainder of the building remained intact. One of our Fathers of Confederation stayed at this property during the famous conference. Today, this historic gem's exterior remains consistent with its original construction. However, the suites within it have been completely renovated to include six (6) appliances (which include stove, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, full size washer and dryer), fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a stand alone shower and a claw foot bath tub. The large bedroom has a new, comfortable, queen sized bed and spacious closets with wooden hangers. The suite has hard wood floors and ten (10) foot ceilings. We also offer off street parking at our property along with internet and cable. Our previous guests have loved the fact this suite is a five (5) minute stroll to entertainment, restaurants, cafes, pubs, shops, and waterfront boardwalk. Guests often park their cars for their entire Charlottetown holiday and walk everywhere. This suite is also a great location to return to after day trips to other parts of the Island. Guests have described the suite as a home away from home.
