"It doesn’t get better than this for location at wintergreen. Especially if you’re traveling with teens who can swing in and out for snacking and getting warm at will. Host was wonderful and very communicative. Only had a couple of issues. The light over the stove wasn’t working but I’m sure they’ll have replaced that by next visitors. One thing to be cautious of is that the stove vent is one of those microwave vents above the stovetop that was so prevalent in the 80s/early 90s. If you’re searing...

"This was a nice house for a family getaway (2 parents, 2 teens, 1 grandma. Everyone had their own space, but room to gather as well. The cozy fireplace was the highlight (note: you have to bring your own firewood). We spent Thanksgiving at the house and there were plenty of pots and pans and tableware (again note: the kitchen did not have any cooking basics - foil, oil, spices, cooking spray etc)"
