This is an Amazing Lake House!
Easily accommodates your family. All new beds and luxury bedding, towels, etc. Spacious kitchen. Kids will want to be in the huge pool all day. Adults will enjoy the spa.
The layout is great for entertaining or just relaxing. 6,000sf consisting of 8 bedrooms on 4 floors each with a living room and a wall mounted TV. We have a spacious and inviting entryway that doubles as a 2nd dining room for larger families, a master suite with his and her bathrooms, a large kitchen with double ovens. It is fully stocked. or really just order pizza. Supersized wall mounted TV in living room (floor 2). An adult floor with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, veranda, and living room and laundry room with new high end washer/dryer (floor 3). A kid floor with play area, TV, tepee, games, a barn for little ones, etc. One room has 2 bunk beds the other "kid" room has 2 Queen beds and a pull out sofa (floor 4). Finished basement opens to the pool, indoor eating area, outdoor picnic area, kitchenette with refrigerator, sink, microwave, toaster and has a queen bed, twin daybed and sofa (floor 1). Exercise room with direct access to hot tub and pool. The oversized 2 car finished garage is currently being used for ping pong, video arcade games, regulation pool table , 3-hole putt putt, foosball, giant jenga, and has a second new washer/dryer set. Outdoor in-ground basketball hoop.

Did we mention kids? Love them! Don't leave them home they'll miss out on a vacation of a lifetime.

Grocery stores are 5 minute away

This is a vacation rental so we don’t allow Weddings or parties. Family reunions OK. No HS youth groups or college parties. Holidays have a surcharge. Also the pool and hot tub can be heated for $100 per day. Discuss payment options with owner. We gladly rent our new pontoon boat.
Floor 1 is handicap accessible with full bathroom (shower) and queen bed and a twin daybed and sofa.

Extra intensive Special Cleaning procedures during this COVID time includes airing out of the home, deep cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces and counter tops. If you are sick or a family member is sick please call immediately and we will re-schedule you for a better time. If you are fearful of COVID and NC, SC please contact me and we will re-schedule for a later time when you feel more comfortable.

Perfect Lake House
This house is loaded with everything one could possibly ask for. Plenty of room for a large group. Very well located on the lake. Well stocked kitchen and nicely decorated throughout.

Family vacation
The house was everything we expected and more. Location was ideal, while just minutes aways from Charlotte, the house was secluded in a nice neighborhood. Was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the house and pool.

The house is HUGE, and even better than the description. Plenty of room for our whole extended family, and plenty of things to keep everyone entertained. The host was very responsive and helpful as well. A great place - We hope to come back soon!

We stayed for the NCAA basketball tournament in Charlotte. House was perfect for young teens older teens and all Dads. Plenty of beds and plenty of room, basketball goal, fishing and great views from backyard and decks. Rick was very responsive via text! Definitely recommend.

STAYING AT THE CHARLOTTE PROPERTY
WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND THE PROPERTY WAS PERFECT. a FEW PLACES NEEDED TO BE CLEANED, AND THE PROPERTY MANAGER WAS ON TOP OF IT TO SEND IN PROPER CREW TO CLEAN IT. OVERALL, WE HAD A BLAST.

Amazing house
Our extended family stayed at this fabulous home for my mother-in-law’s 90th birthday weekend. It was perfect for our group. The setting is lovely, with a large backyard, patio and verandas overlooking the lake. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and terrific game room with pool, ping pong and more. The house is really well-stocked with everything needed for a large group. Though there were 16 of us, we were able to spread out and everyone had their own rooms. The younger kids were thrilled to have their own space on the 4th floor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Family lake trip

Family time at Lake Wylie
Great place to gather with family ages 11 weeks to 58 years! The pool was great. The game room, fire pit, and pool were enjoyed by all! Outside deck area was great, though partially under construction. The double-wide and long driveway easily accommodated multiple cars. Having dinner on the deck while watching the fire pit burn down for s’mores was also a treat.

great stay for large family with kids of all ages
The house had everything we needed. We loved the porches, pool, game room/garage and dock. We rented at the end of the season, and maybe that's why everything had suffered wear and tear compared with the online photos. We didn't mind, because we had kids of all ages and didn't have to be too fussy, and we were perfectly comfortable. All in all a great vacation.

Great familyy Christmas
This is a great property and Rick is a great host. Plenty of room for a large group and ample living space on each floor. The kitchen is well equipped and all the bathrooms well stocked. Rick responded quickly to any questions we had. A nasty winter storm made the game room too cold to use, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun in warmer weather. All in all, a great stay.

Nice property
The overall location and space was amazing. Close to amenities and easy access to airport/grocery/marina. Plenty of space for our very large family, and plenty of privacy and things for kids to do. Property was nice but needs a little TLC. Needs a deep cleaning for small children, issue with bugs/spiders in house and wasps on premise.

90th birthday / family reunion
Family from 5 states got together to celebrate our Uncle's 90th birthday! We looked for a place large enough with a sufficient number of bedrooms and baths and this property "fit the bill"! It is a beautiful home with plenty of activities to keep us entertained. All the stairs were a challenge for our guest of honor but the rest of us old folks managed! Rick was very gracious and accommodating, would recommend this home to others needing room for many people.

Birthday weekend by the lake
We had a fantastic time weekend! Our group included 20 adults who were visiting NC for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Not only was the house gorgeous (as advertised!) but it was able to comfortably accommodate our entire group. We had an awesome BBQ in the backyard and enjoying some competitive pool volleyball- all with an incredible view across Lake Wylie. Everything we needed was within a 5-10 minute drive and we were also able to get to and from both the airport and downtown Charlotte seamlessly. Would highly recommend visiting the White Water Center for anyone interested in a fun adventure one of your trip! Lastly, Rick was incredibly responsive and welcoming. Would recommend this place to anyone. Eli

Perfect Ladies Retreat Weekend
A group of friends stayed in this beautiful spacious home for a long weekend for our annual Ladies Retreat. Rick and Karen are wonderful hosts. Communication was prompt and responsive. The home has everything needed to spend a day out on the water, an evening sitting by the firepit or in the hot tub, a rainy day in the gameroom, or an afternoon nap on one of the many porches. The kitchen is fully stocked. You only need to bring food. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Charlotte, and are appreciative of the hospitality providing guests with everything needed for a comfortable and memorable stay.

Beautiful sunset views
Our annual family trip was a success, in large part due to the offerings of this beautiful home. This spacious home provides enough room for our growing family. There are central places to congregate for family meals, game nights, and of course the pool deck, but also areas to slip away for quiet time or reading. There were plenty of water sports which were a hit with everyone, especially the kids - boating, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, soaking in the hot tub….and gorgeous verandas to take in all of the activity. The sunsets were amazing and the weather was great! Rick and Karen are exceptional hosts and very responsive with any questions we had. Overall a wonderful home/location to make for a fabulous vacation!

Family Vacation 2018
We had eight adults and six kids ages 18 months to 10 yrs. old. This house was more than accommodating, was situated on a beautiful lake front lot with a boat dock, and had a swimming pool with a volley ball net, which we all made use of several times. It actually became addicting to play volley ball in the water, and was great family time spent together. My brother and his wife even came from Hickory, NC to spend time with us on two different days. Rick and Karen were a great couple and we worked with each other well. Had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone. Awesome time together!! Thanks Rick & Karen.

Fun for all at the lake house
We had a blast at this house! Our family and friends included teens from 12 to 16 years old, and grandparents in their 70's. We loved going out on the pontoon and paddleboarding off the dock. The pool was great and would be nice for young kids too with a long shallow end of about 3 feet. The owner, Rick, was very responsive to any questions. We had several great family meals and the kitchen is stocked well for cooking and the grill convenient by the pool. The fenced in backyard is nice for kids and our dog but would not leave little ones unattended by pool and lake of course. The back porch and patio area made it possible for us to visit outside most of the day and keep my parents in their 70's safe for a day visit given the pandemic. We had a much needed wonderful family retreat. My favorite part was going on the pontoon at sunset which was amazing. Thanks, Rick!

One Awesome Vacation!
We rented the house out for a week in July and had an amazing time!! Before our visit, Rick always responded to emails within 12 hours and answered all our questions. Arrival was very smooth and all the directions for the week (is. Trash day) were very clear. We rented Rick’s pontoon boat and our kids couldn’t get enough tubing!! We had one small issue with the boat fuse and once we let Rick know, he came out and fixed it immediately. The house was very spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups, bowls, silverware, etc. so we were able to cook for a large number of people at the house. The pool was very big for a house pool and everyone swam daily for hours, especially our kids. We would definitely recommend the house to all our friends/family and would love to make it back sometime in the future! We couldn’t ask for more!!

Steel Creek House
The house is huge, upon arrival, it was fairly clean. The first two stories were very cool, the 3rd and 4th levels were very warm 84’. I contacted the owner, he called someone who responded first thing the next morning, he said there was nothing he could do, it was the unit in the house. There were two portable units, one worked the other did not, so it stayed hot on the 3rd and 4th levels. We had a few other problems, but, the owners were very attentive, very fair with adjusting the price. This is a great house, the owners are very attentive. Know the 3rd and 4th levels will be very warm. The pool is great, had a great time on the jet ski. The boat was not running very well, it was taken for service. All in all (other than the 3rd and 4th level being 84’) we had a great time.

Fantastic house for groups
We had a great time. This house is thoughtfully filled with everything you need - plenty of towels, pillows and blankets, storage areas in the bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen including outdoor cups and plates. The pool and boats were a blast. The game room isn’t quite as pictured - it’s a garage that’s also filled with other items. We couldn’t get all of the games to work but it was still a nice space for the kids to use when they wanted a break from the sun. The adults loved all the outdoor seating on the porches. We could peel off for some quiet time whenever we wanted, but also have a great meal at the outdoor dining table. Rick and Karen were above and beyond great. A few things were missed during the cleaning process. They made it right immediately and followed up to make sure we were set. This is a great house. We loved our stay and hope to come back.

Lovely, spacious home with fun for all ages!
We spent a fantastic week at Rick's place this August 2019! As a group of young families with children ranging from 4 months to nearly 7 years old, this home truly had something for everyone. The pool was perfect--plenty of shallow end space (3 feet) for younger children to swim and still be able to touch while also having a deeper side (8 feet, I believe) for diving. The patio surrounding the pool is well appointed with plenty of seating options and the palm trees as well as the decks provide ample shade. We spent nearly all day every day in the pool and never ran out of fun options. The game room was also fun for the kids when they needed a little break from the sun. The house itself is so spacious and nicely laid out that there was plenty of room for everyone to be together while also providing some seclusion and privacy when needed. Absolutely loved the spacious decks with seating options and the lake was lovely. The house feels private on the lake but is also very conveniently located to anything you would need (plenty of grocery stores, shopping, etc.). Rick was friendly, helpful, and communicative. Check-in and check-out procedures were easy. We loved our time at this beautiful home and would happily return!
