This is a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and complaints from neighbors means you will be asked to vacate without a refund. No smoking of any kind, no parties, events or guests not listed on the reservation. If evidence of smoking inside is found, a $500 fine will be assessed + additional cleaning fees will be charged. Pets are not allowed on any furniture. We will ask you to confirm that you and all guests will comply with house rules prior to releasing the address and entry code. No music allowed in backyard. Thank you for your understanding.

Up to 2 dogs of any size are welcome for an additional fee of $200 per dog. Pets must be named at the time of booking to avoid a request to pay applicable fees and/or damages and vacate immediately. Cats are not permitted - we love them but are highly allergic. Exotic animals and reptiles are not allowed.

We needed accomodtions on short notice for a family gathering in Matthews/S. Charlotte. We had 5 adults, 3 older kids (11,12,13) and 2 therapy dogs. This was the perfect solution! Everyone had their own bed, fenced yard and super quiet neighborhood. Close to shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend, host was communicative and easy to work with. Family wedding visit
Extremely comfortable & spacious house, with all the amenities for a home away from home. Perfect for our large family that traveled from several states & cross country for a wedding in Matthews area. Stephen was responsive to everyone’s request if something came up. Only 1minor thing was the house was missing the hot-tub that was mentioned on the VRBO listing, much to my sister & mother’s chagrin, but we had a great time nonetheless the-less! Would definitely rent again if ever in the area.

Events bring family and friends together.
This house is perfect for families and friends to make memories while visiting NC !! The open floor format on the 1st floor makes it so convenient for everyone to be together . Whether eating, watching TV or playing games wherever you are on the 1st floor you are all together. The beds are very comfy!! Everything is clean ! Pictures are exactly how the house looks!! I would most certainly stay here again..

First and foremost, this property was immaculately clean. Communication with the host was superb. Check in was so easy. The neighborhood is gorgeous! If you are looking for a quiet escape this area is for you. I loved how there was a room downstairs with a full bathroom for my older parents. This house is also very kid friendly. I stayed here with my mother, toddler, and several friends during a trip to Charlotte. We decided to stay outside of Charlotte as this house fit all our needs. It was VERY comfortable for our toddler who was loved playing in the "kids" room with very thoughtful play kitchen. It was easy check in/check out process. Will stay here again! Thank you!

I came with a group of 11 and the house was perfect for us! We were able to cook several meals for everyone throughout the week from the stocked supplies and there was ample seating for everyone. The beds were very comfortable as well!

Absolutely wonderful
Came into town for our daughters D2 lacrosse championship. Travel into Charlotte was delayed and weather was awful. It was so comforting to arrive to a cozy inviting home. Game schedules were changed so i was able to have my daughter and roommates over for a homecooked meal made in a fully equipped kitchen. We were even able to extend our checkout when game schedules were changed. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay!
I rented this home for myself and my adult children while we were in town for a wedding. Communication with the host was great, they were always quick to respond. The home was so clean and inviting. Our host spoiled us!
So far, this was the best/favorite short term rental experience that I’ve had. The home was absolutely beautiful. It was clean and beautifully decorated. The fact that my aunt went for a walk one morning speaks to how nice/safe/quiet the neighborhood was. Stephen, our host, was extremely gracious. We only needed to contact him once to ask a question, and he responded almost immediately. His pre-arrival message provided everything that we needed to know. He even left a handwritten note to welcome me. My favorite part about the house is that we could all comfortably lounge around without tripping over each other. None of us wanted to leave. My family is adamant about doing another girl’s weekend in Charlotte, and already said that they want to stay in “that house” again. Next time, though, we’ll stay longer than two nights.
