- NOTE: The neighborhood public beach (North Beach) is just a 150-foot walk along a public road. This area features a bike rack, picnic table, a small grassy space, and a sandy beach, all maintained by the township. While you won’t need to cross private land to access this beach, please avoid trespassing on either side, as those areas are private. The bottom consists of a 12 to 18" layer of sand over a clay base. In spring, shifting ice can sometimes uncover the clay, which becomes soft enough to be dug up by hand, though this doesn’t occur every year

Great for the price
We were looking for a small getaway from home and this worked out well. The only downfall is that there is no flexibility on more than one dog. We were sad to leave our two pups back home. Not too far from town and there is the Landing which we were able to walk to!

Cozy cabin
The cabin was just what I hoped for, it was clean and had everything we needed for an up north weekend. The beach was an easy walk down the road and was sandy and beautiful. I would definitely rent again.

Nice stay
We enjoyed a nice stay at this cute property. We wish the weather had been better but that cannot be helped. It had everything we needed but we only had one role of toilet paper for 3 nights so we had to buy some and it was a tad cold so had to go to town to buy an extra heater for the cabin. Mark was wonderfully kind. Very cute place for a get away.

Fall Getaway
Very nice small cabin with all the comforts of home. Nice quiet street and well stocked with necessities. Plenty of dishes, pans and utensils and all other items you would find in a hotel room. It’s nice not to worry about every meal out. This is our third stay at a VRBO and we are really satisfied with the alternative from motels and hotels.

Great cabin
The cabin was exactly like it is described. The public access lake is very small, but it's perfect for a quick swim or watching the sunrise/sunset. It is a short walk from the cabin, and it is a very quiet beach. Also, the street is a very quiet street, which was nice because we brought our dog. The cabin is close to downtown, close to lots of tourist attractions, and close to bigger public beaches. It's in a perfect spot because it is in a quiet area, but you can get to a busy area quickly. We loved the accommodation and will book it again when we go to Charlevoix.

Nestle by the lake
We stayed 3 nights, the cabin is well stocked, it was very clean. The owner Mark was prompt to take care of an issue with one of the beds. We loved having the water filter there. We were close to the lake front. The weather didn’t permit swimming but we would have if it was nicer weather. It is close to town and there were lots to do. We enjoyed the castle tour and the mushroom house tour. We found petosky stones at two of the beaches. Thankyou for the nice atmosphere!

Good location. Quite. Clean.
Out stay was nice. The owner, I believe, stopped by to make sure everything was good and made sure we were warm and offered additional heating. Very accommodating. A couple of issues…the property was managed by a separate, off site, company. I felt the check-in instructions seemed delayed. Also, communicating with them was slightly annoying. They couldn’t answer my questions through the Vrbo app and referred me to the on-site management, which I had no means to communicate with. I received multiple messages from different people from the 3rd party with no answer. Other than that, the stay was nice.

Everything you hoped for!
These little cabins are clean and comfortable, and very conveniently located. 5 minutes from Charlevoix without the traffic and tourists, with a small beach just steps away. The landlord is a great guy who goes out of his way to make sure your stay is everything you hoped it would be. Book it!

Unbeatable location!
This home was perfect for our family of four. It is a 1/2 block from a beautiful, sandy beach. The cabin comes equipped with all the amenities you need to cook and grill. The beds were comfy; the wi-fi was excellent; and there is a sweet artesian well on the property with crystal clear water. We will be booking again!

Great location!
Mark was a wonderful host. He was helpful in every way possible. The cabin was fairly clean, well stocked, and just a short walk from the beach. He had great suggestions on where to go in town and to make our visit a great experience for our kids. He truly cares about his guests and takes good care of the property. We will definitely be back!

Great location. Close to the water. Property had everything we needed. Kitchen was stocked appropriately. We especially loved the low profile patio as our dear friend is in a wheel chair and was able to come visit and roll right up to the patio for lovely morning visit.

We had a great time and the cabin was really nice. Close to everything which was wonderful. The private beach was awesome. It was a pleasant surprise to find games to play. Would definitely recommend staying here and would totally stay there again.

Lake Charlevoix Lake Cottage
Very pleasantly surprised. Cute cottage. A/C came in very handy. Beds were surprisingly comfortable and the housekeeping items that were available were a nice touch. Patio and front furniture was great for relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee or chatting with the neighbors. Only downside was no drawers for clothing in 2 bedroom. And, we found hair in the shower and Britta water filter. Other than that, I have a weird hair phobia, it was a very pleasant stay. I highly recommend it

Lake Charlevoix Getaway
The property was better than I expected. Very nice setting and cute cottage. The bedding and linens were a pleasant surprise. Overall very pleased with our stay. The second bedroom needs a small dresser or chest with drawers for clothes.
