Private, stand alone cabin nestled in the wood's. Perfect for a family with children or four adults. Quiet, paved country road. Five minutes to Lake Michigan, Lake Charlevoix, downtown Charlevoix and Castle Farms. VRBO “ Neighborhood description” states We are on a lake, just to be clear, we are across the street from a small fishing lake and 5 to 10 minutes from Lake Charlevoix and Lake Michigan. ☺️
Take your family to the Mt. McSauba recreational area for a day hike through the dunes to Lake Michigan or relax on one of our beautiful beaches. Stroll through downtown Charlevoix while enjoying a local treat from an ice cream shop. There are many casual or fine dining restaurants within the downtown area. Enjoy the views of the harbor from a bench in the park.
The cabin is on a popular biking route. Bring your bikes! Hiking trails are close by as well as many nature preserves. A walk out the back door you will find a Maple Woods with an outdoor fire pit and grill. An indoor gas fireplace adds warmth to living space. Petoskey, Boyne and Harbor Springs are 30 minutes. Traverse City and Mackinaw are less than an hour away. Wildlife is abundant on the property. We do not allow pets or smoking on the property. The Shed was a great place for our family to stay. It was clean and very well-stocked. The location was very quaint and private. We loved to hang out around the house after an outing to the beach to downtown. Our family especially loved the porch- a good place to hang out to read and unwind. We loved our stay. The house is very clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower is extra large with plenty of hot water. The front yard is large and very pretty with numerous beautiful flowers. We spent a lot of time in Boyne, and it was easy to drive to via road and even quicker by ferry. The host provided a much appreciated welcome gift as well. Thank you for providing us a nice place to get away to.

We stayed in The Shed for 2 nights and it was fantastic! My fiancé and I got married in Charlevoix and it was a perfect 2 night getaway for us for the remainder of our weekend. The house was clean, appliances were brand new, and locationally you are right down the road from Castle Farms, plus an easy drive into downtown Charlevoix. Lilly (the host) was extremely responsive and wonderful to work with. If the opportunity presents itself, we would 100% stay here again!

The owner was friendly, quick to respond, and very sweet to talk to. My entire family enjoyed their stay, and the kids loved the swings! My mom who is 80 , loved the peace and quiet, yet it wasn’t too far from town. It was an excellent place to stay and very clean!

Thank you for a great stay. The “Shed” is cozy. Perfect size for 4 adults. If you don’t need a lot of space this is perfect. We could have used internet, but got by on cellular data. We were so close to the two wedding venue - Charlevoix yacht club & Castle Farms. Wish we had time to enjoy a bonfire or a nice hike. The Shed was very clean and had all the supplies we needed. Would 100% recommend.
