This spot is a conveniently located zen abode!
Two queen beds in two separate rooms as well as a spacious living room (with a couch bed). You'll have a TV in each space. Living room and kitchen flow together to create a happy space to relax. You'll find the kitchen is stocked with everything you need (including coffee!) The island in the kitchen is perfect for an after beach snack or a glass of wine following a downtown adventure! An outside firepit and dining area are surrounded by a fence and offer an additional place to chill. Youll enjoy this historic high ceiling home previously used as a community gathering place and market. Your driveway will be perfect for any size trailer. The best part is the beach is 10 minutes away!! Downtown Charleston is only about a 15 min drive too! This gem is becoming an increasingly popular spot to land for a fantastic home away from home.

Comfortable house in a great location
We enjoyed our stay while in Charleston to see the Southern Living Idea House. The house had a GREAT location close to attractions, interstate, downtown and restaurants. Beds were comfy and we loved the fenced in yard for our dog.

My husband and I flew in for 4 days in the Charleston area. We had the best time and enjoyed the proximity of the property to downtown and the beaches! The house was very clean and had all the necessary items to live away. A home away from home.

Just loved this place. All you need is provided, Host is a super communicator. Answers questions very quickly. Very comfortable beds, loved the fenced yard for our fur baby. Nice quiet location and spacious accommodations. Easy access to Folly Beach and Downtown.

Property was conveniently located to boat landing (about 4-5 miles) and plenty of parking for my boat. Very clean home and comfortable beds. I would recommend and stay there again.

This house is 3mi s close to the soccer complex and was so convenient. House is very clean and no scented plug ins or candles which is a must for use with allergies. Plenty of room to park on the yard.

4.75 - Super cute place, central location
Nice place! Well arranged and spacious. Lots of great natural light and vaulted ceilings. The finishes and furnishings are lovely. Great central location that gets you to the beach or downtown in 15 minutes. Fenced yard is great for pets & people, but was overrun with ants & grass-dwelling bitey bugs when we were there — and it could use a bit of sprucing up. We live in the south and ants are just a fight here all year, but a spray with one of those bottles that screws onto the hose would sort it here. Cute little outdoor table on the side porch and parking that’s very easy to get in and out of. The power went out while we were there, and the property manager was very responsive in helping us figure out that it was a city problem and very willing to go get us to be comfortable until the power came back on (but since it came back on shortly after we returned from a day downtown, it wasn’t really an issue). Very nice bathroom and the deep window ledges in the bath and bedrooms are super convenient too. If I were the owners, I’d make a few little tweaks to perfect the experience because the market will bear an extra $10 tacked onto the host fee without noticing and those little touches will make a cute convenient place like this one people book without even checking to see what else is available - and plan return visits based on when it’s open!

The property manager was very responsive and helpful. I checked in and noticed that the beds did not have sheets. I told the property manager and she came be within 10 minutes and personally made up the beds. This is a great property and it suited my travel purposes perfectly.

Great stay!
What a great little find in the teal door inn! The location is fantastic, close enough far away at the same time. The house was clean, just what we needed, and had some great additions as well. They provided a highchair, playpen, and stroller for anyone with children. The best part was that my father, who’s in a wheelchair, was able to access the house very easily, which can be a very difficult find.
